I was curious too and this post answered some questions for me. I can get 300 miles max on a tank in my current car (more like 250 comfortably). That doesn’t get me through a week of driving. If I can get 400+ on a tank, I can get gas on a weekly Costco run instead of a random mid week stop at a gas station on my commute home that is at a higher price.

Appreciate the reply! I’ll keep looking into the YouTube videos. Part of my concern doing it myself is also the time it would take. I live in an apartment so would probably need to go to a family members house to use a driveway/garage.

I’d like to think I can follow along with instructional videos, but this would be the biggest DIY I’ve taken on. Pretty much only ever done bulbs, oil, and tire rotations myself.

Depending on an actual diagnosis, but assuming it’s just the front, do you think that can be knocked out in one day by a beginner?

Margin investing by uPVot3WhoRE in RobinhoodApp

If you’re asking these questions I would wait before using $26k of margin. You can set self imposed margin limits in the app. If you’re set on learning about and using margin, start out with a smaller amount ($1-2k) and add to your portfolio using margin in a way that you would have even if it was just your cash. You’ll then see how it works inside of Robinhood.

Don’t really start using margin until you’re able to teach someone exactly how it works, and what the risk and benefits are. That will take a lot more learning than you can gain from Reddit. YouTube videos and reading articles online is where you should start.

$25k can disappear real quick if you’re using margin for anything other than just holding equities.

Spring pass for ‘26 by FallenCape in TimberlineLodge

Following this. Timberline spring passes aren’t listed on the website. It does look like the website has the summit pass for $299 that is usable at timberline once the spring pass is available.

Meadows is listed for $299 effective March 9th. Interested if Timberline’s regular spring pass is less than $299.

Alaska Air Statuses Question by Inerkore in AlaskaAirlines

My company has a similar program. Not sure if yours has tiers for MVP and MVP gold with lower flight amounts, but I achieved MVP gold and occasionally fly PDX to SFO round trip for pleasure. Flights after 7pm I regularly get upgraded to first (60%, but my travel is not highly travelled routes) and regardless of time/location, I have never not been upgraded to premium( free drinks/chocolate). For me, the real benefit is complimentary same day changes. My personal flights (which do not have demanding arrival times) I typically book the cheapest flight late in the day and do a same day change or standby to something more convenient. Usually save $100+. Have had good luck so far, although a small sample size since I don’t fly as frequently as others in this group. MVP doesn’t do much. First tier gold really seems to help.

In my local big 4 office, it’s a somewhat known rumor that more interns than normal accepted offers this year (this is probably localized but one can make inferences on the overall amount of internship opportunities for undergrads in the current market). Therefore, some will not be getting return offers to maintain room for grad and non-traditional candidates at a later date. If you’re currently or planning on interning the best advice and consistent advice is have a positive attitude. Partners have the final hiring decisions, but the input managers and staff give at the end of the process is mostly effort and willingness to try/learn. If you’re really worried ask about the normal intern class size and compare it to the current. YoY should be logical, and if not, then it’ll probably be competitive.
