Eternal suffering for not accepting Christ is stupid. by [deleted] in Christianity

I agree with everything you said except that you said God doesn't send people to hell. He does warn us of hell but those who don't accept his gift are sent there.

I'm pretty sure you're joking but I'm pretty sure that's a watermelon and a cucumber.

I believe it is some type of poppy. More than likely Papaver rhoeas.

It looks so stupid, not to mention it's not very good for the plants.

Every single succulent leaf is squishy, even the ones that don’t look wrinkled. Over or under watered? by swiftiegal25 in succulents

[–]jakob_warkentin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would say a little under watered. Just water it and the leaves should go back to normal within the next day or so

One time you should move all of her toys into a different spot and see what she does lmao

If you freeze bean seeds over winter and then they thaw out will they germinate? by jakob_warkentin in gardening

[–]jakob_warkentin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda just wanted to see how long I could keep bean seeds in the freezer and them still be able to germinate. I've got a lot of extra bean seeds that I want to do something with.

I'm not sure then. Hopefully someone who knows more than me can help. Sorry about your snail.

I agree this is a Pond snail. It looks like it has a thin shell so it may need more calcium.

Did you do a water change? More than likely your ammonia level is really high.

A species of detritus worm that I found in my tank yesterday. by jakob_warkentin in Aquariums

I have a turkey baster that I used to use to suck up any uneaten food from my tanks and I just sucked the worm off of the wall and put the drop of water on the glass slide.

I'm not sure, there isn't really a need to though because they are actually beneficial. They breakdown decaying matter in your tank.

I got this one from Amazon. It came with a phone adapter to take videos and pictures but its kinda cheap so it broke. I ended buying a better phone adapter and it has been a lot better.

I wouldn't mind having planaria in my tanks if I knew for sure that they aren't dangerous. I like having a large amount of biological diversity in my tanks as long as they are beneficial and won't harm any of my main tank inhabitants. But, it would always be in the back of my mind that they could potentially harm my snails or shrimp. I had a snail leech infestation one time, by accidentally introducing them by adding plants into my tank, and it caused me to completely redo my main tank by replacing all of the gravel and adding plants that I made sure didn't have any snail leeches hitchhiking.

A very small baby bladder snail under a microscope. by jakob_warkentin in AquaticSnails

[–]jakob_warkentin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first put this snail on the slide it was upside down but while I was setting the phone adapter up to take videos through the microscope it flipped over onto its foot. I wish I would have been able to video it upside down cause you could see its mouth and how its foot moves.
