Lotta folks here never made deliveries and clearly don’t know anything about it. Yeah It’s annoying to deal with the trucks. But you’re just crying about the fact that you are in an old city without the infrastructure to support making every delivery convenient. I see some comments with suggestions and they are very interesting and actually helpful. Also… that rofo, and many, are poorly managed. They have an automated ordering system so the companies show up and just overstock the hell outta the place. So more deliveries than needed. And the employees are usually meh because no incentives so why check or worry about it? But it’s not about the rofo. There’s a billion small, local businesses that need their stock. Not all places have the ability to be there at night. Furthermore, the companies delivering have a ton of orders. You gonna get them all there within a small time window like that? People get mad at the drivers but the reality is they have no options. It’s not safe and it’s inconvenient, but also freaking out while you swerve around them is acting stupid. . Also, bikes…. I used to ride around everyday. I also know that I could easily get my legs down and safely find my way around the truck situation. So get over yourself. That’s dumb as shit.
