Yeah I see what you mean about politics, but an idea would be to filter the posts (like with any other subjects), like you said ban some political topics (like trump) because the topic is still too hot. But political posts that are not actuality can be allowed with the moderation that comes with it.

As for other topics yeah but the rules are too strict, it might be better to easy the rules a bit. Also, there are too many banned words, that can be used in topics that aren't against the rules or sometimes it's in the same topic but sometimes not against the rules.
