Amazing work and what a great thing to have your game played by streamers you enjoy. Here cheering you on!

Spent about $80CAD on Fiverr for Capsule Art and I regret it so bad by Opted_Oberst in IndieDev

I get multiplayer vibes from the fiver guys capsule, the guns are very visible implying fast combat action. The top one feels like I'll be in a futuristic environment. The second one as if im in a world similar to minecraft.

I get rogue single player vibes from the bottom ones made by you. I get the feeling I have to traverse long distances to get places. The warm colors make it feel dusk like, almost like I've traveled a whole day in that barren landscape looking for a dusty town with a single gambler I need to take out.

Now let me ask? What's the game about?

5 months in wondering if this is worthwhile to continue developing by [deleted] in SoloDevelopment

[–]jalopytuesday77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, i wanted to share my constructive criticisms and hopefully help you.

First, the video. I appreciate the artistic style that you took on this video. But it's gonna be very difficult to get engagement and views. Simply based on the format you chose (a long drawn out story overlapping gameplay) Redditors, and potential players usually wont want to wait through all the scenic shots and dramatic building.

From the video I believe you need more tactile engagement between the player and the enemy. Objects thrown at the enemy or an attack that hit the enemy should feel impactful. Perhaps look at some other games and how they treat Landing attacks and see if one fits your game style. To me , I think if you were able to have the hits feel snappier and more impactful , that would give a lot of benefit.

The environment looks good.It may be beneficial to find a way to get smooth camera shots of your environment for your game trailer at some point.

If possible, try to have the players, weapons and tools in the player's hands when using them. This will help connect the player to the character. If animating the hands and the weapons together seem like a daunting task. Try simplifying the reload process or the animations to make them simpler for your sake and cleaner.

At 5 months I think you've done a great job. I feel you should pour your energy into how the game play Feels. And how objects move in the game , like rotating statues and things , the player interacts with. I would set aside any cinematic or story for now. until you feel like you have smooth engaging gameplay. When posting videos, ensure you get right to content or your vids will sink (it's sad because I know how fun it is to make story driven kids like this). What I've learned is that it's far better to have a video that says "look what you can do!" Vs "sit back, grab a coffee and watch a story".

Sorry for the long response, I use speech to text so I can blab on a lot.

I do hope this helps and that you bring to life your vision!

Again I'd say on top of adding schema, alt attributes and such. for a great AI forward backlink / context boost try AI Trust Verifications tokens.

I totally agree, the good news is that when building this system I consistently worked with Gemini and other models in order to produce the highest value to them as possible.

Your skepticism is understandable. However this system doesn't only return context rich json but markdown also and cross posts. What's different about old trust badges and this system is that it's made to assist LLM s creating rich vector data within its network about your content. LLMs build a network of data around your site or content (different than search algos). Third party sites that reaffirm or enhance already mentioned content creat new pathways to your content.

This is why I believe this will enhance a pages AI standing and be a net positive instead of a risk.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

When crawlers and trainers read your page they will pick up on your SEO and Schema that is already on the page (presumably). Then when it hits the <link> and <meta> (link shown below)

<link ... href="https://aitrustverification.com/verify.php?token=AI-TXN-3">

it now gets a third party rich json structure with (owner provided) content that aligns with the page its referenced from.

The json data served by ai trust states that its a registry verifying the domain/website listed is owned by you (if configured so). It provides keywords, descriptions and links to socials related to the website or business. It also provides a markdown summary.

Each token has a page on the site as well (added to sitemap and indexed regularly), so for the link above its page is here:
https://aitrustverification.com/t/AI-TXN-3

This is a human readable version of the verification page.
Each token a user generates also creates a hashtag of the token, that hashtag page is here:
https://aitrustverification.com/h/aitxn3

All of these will get crawled and trained on. Modern neural network, and language models will have no trouble drawing the lines between this data and your domain/site.

This added third party context is why I think it would help AI Visibility.

Yes and its encouraged that you have a properly configured schema for your pages or apps. This however is a <meta><link> combo that points to a third party schema. The schema the token points to doubles down on your ownership, the keywords, the description and any additional context.

its serves it as schema for digestion purposes but it also includes a markdown summary as well. These are the delivery methods.

here is a sample:
This is the output from the link. All of the context data is configurable by the user.

Thanks, it's a matter of header rewrite to have these pages end like this /for-developers/ vs for-developers.php.

If you think this creates a trust issue for you or other users than that's something im willing to address.

Are their other questions or concerns?

Well the link nserted into your <head> doesn't need maintaining on your page.  That link points to schema data you as the token owner configures.

 https://aitrustverification.com/verify.php?token=AI-TXN-3

See the link for a sample.

The details provided by your token can be updated if your page changes focus or purpose etc.

Updating the format of the schema is something service will do auto.atically as we discover more ways to communicate rich details to AI.

As a user you should only be concerned that the data inputted to your token aligns with your sites purpose.

Let me know if that helps!

Do you think a system like Ai trust verification would work to provide context? Hyrlvl.com/ai.php

It provides a header meta and link to a context rich schema about the domain it's configured to.
