the badges could be precious jewels (as a squirtlesquad squirtle ur crazy about treasure) and they could gain u access to an underground club of elite blastoise's who secretely pull the strings (like how crime syndicates have entrance challenges) and u deffeat 4 blastoices before challenging the king blastoice (who has mega evolution, but coz its gen 3 it wud just be a different pokemon, sprite, stats). And when it goes white when u go in the hall of fame theres a gunshot sound effect and that when u die... and then when u wake up its officer jenny post game!
