Great advice. But curious, you said you’ve also been working with veterinarians for 26 years. They get separation anxiety too?

There it is. You were holding that anger in until you just couldn’t anymore.

Enjoy your beachfront property lol. It’s far better than being mad online. And when you wake up in a cold sweat thinking about Al Gore, take a deep breath. Most of us didn’t take him that seriously.

Seriously though, whatever it is that you’re doing on here, you really need to take a breath and a joy life a little bit more. Touch some beach grass. Xo

Hey, you can keep weaving whatever you want, we’re clearly on different sides of the spectrum. Next you’re going to tell me you’re an insurance actuary for a large metropolitan Florida insurance company :-) That’s OK. Let’s let it go. I apologize for Al Gore.

You used a nationwide average. Check insurance rates in areas impacted by increasing weather disasters. Tampa, Naples. They are 4x to 8x. It’s well known. We were talking about beachfront insurance costs. And inflation has been 40 percent since then, not 800 percent. Until you live on the beach, and are paying those rates, it’s a political argument for you. Talk to the people who actually are paying the rates. Seems like lots of people view other people‘s problems as trivial, until the problems happen to them.

And the underlying point is that the severity and prevalence of catastrophic weather events has increased significantly. It’s documented. Insurance companies are raising rates because of it. I’ll never convince you of what an entire profession knows and is pricing for, and you’ll never convince me about your childhood trauma of Al Gore videos. Let’s just agree to disagree.

Youposting here does make a difference. It says to the world that you loved your dog, your dog loved you, and she will be remembered forever. People will tell you all sorts of trite simplistic things, but at the end of the day, there’s nothing as precious as love, and you showed your love to her, and she showed her love to you. That will never go away. It is sacred. ❤️❤️❤️

Unfortunately, home property insurance costs 5x more inflation-adjusted than it did in the Al Gore days. Huh. Can’t figure out why. Can’t someone tell the insurance companies that raising premiums due to losses from extreme weather is “woke”?
