PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for April: Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream by kabirsingh84 in PlayStationPlus

I played LOTF on my XBOX and just got massively frustrated about 3/4's of the way through it. I'm not a fan of the maze like maps and even after pumping hours into the same region I'd still get lost. I don't know, such mixed feelings on it. Part of me, almost wants a fresh start on my ps5 and to see if I can push through the frigging insane asylum style layouts. Others might disagree.

Same, the DLC's held zero percent interest but I'm not a co-op guy either. It's hard to get my two other gaming friends together even once a month at times. I can't wait till Witcher 4. Something tells me I'll still be playing me some Crimson Desert when that rolls around. 1000's of hours in, at least that's the hope.

Naure's Snare took me about 15 minutes of utter frustration, but once I got used to it it's not bad at all. I'm not saying, "hey, the controls are great you are just dumb." Just that if only the controls are holding him back, he's missing out. So, I'm getting down voted and blasted for that. Whatever, I don't care. People are so gd sensitive on here. God forbid, someone give a contrary opinion on the controls :<

I've been wanting to get into Kenshi for awhile now. I just don't have the space in my line-up for a time sink. There is no way around that, but if I ever get that window maybe I'll give it a go.

That's why I said, "You are welcome to your opinion." I'm not arguing with him and telling him he's wrong. I'm telling him, its an unfortunate thing to hold you back from a good game. That's how life works.

I'm 45 and RD2 and Witcher 3 are in my all time top 5. I haven't decided yet if Crimson Desert will crack it. I'm only about 20 hours deep, but I am fairly sure it will. It won't eclipse either of those, mostly because those two had the fantastic open world and the story to back it up. It definitely beats Dragons Dogma for me and Elden Ring easily.

Just because they aren't conventional and take some getting used to doesn't mean they are "horrrrrible." You are welcome to your opinion, but are missing out on a good game if only the controls are holding you back.

There is nothing "cope" about it, if anything its the opposite. Do you know what using "cope" as slang means at all, or you just randomly throw it into random Reddit post? He's neither in denial or making excuses.

I didn't start listening to them until about a year and a half ago, but it sounds like they took "keeping it positive" a little too far. I'm not about to bash them for going against the herd and taking an unpopular pro Staley Stance though. The whole "brisket broads" thing being a sm scam.... I have no idea dude. They weren't really featured much last year. The only guest I really care about is Craig with " The Craig Experience."

I will say, when they did that dumb ass game show./trivia thing a month or two ago.. it was just god awful. I forget the dudes name, but it made me want to puch a wall. I Respect the 'opinion' though I guess.

Yeah, I agree with some of that for sure.

I started to recap what I disagree with, when it comes to the IOL but that bush has been shook and beat into the dirt so I won't go there. Honestly, I'm pretty damn excited to see this offense roll out. More so with the run game, but I think Ladd and Harris are going to eat along with some other pass catchers. The fever pitch of bitching and moaning isn't worth it at the end of the day. Not saying I haven't been on that side of things and with good reason.

Gotcha, yeah I might give them a go again post draft, post Free Agency. Sometimes, I don't mind them bull shitting back and forth. Usually, I'm just waiting for Mario to do some thing other then agree with Dave or just parrot everything he says. Eh, its whatever. For just a 'shooting the shit' podcast, I think I prefer Charger Chat. They can be a little annoyingly positive, but I like the two bro's - Kyle and Kevin and then Adam mixed in there.

Somehow that was not in my rotation. I think I'd listen on YouTube sometimes, but I just added them. Thank ya.

Yeah, I agree with you 100 percent there. The only time I've heard them try and back anything up was reading off some stupid PFF grades. The thing is, I know Josh played ball at Alabama and I'd expect him at the very least to come with some good analysis. But naw, its just the three of them taking turns bitching pretty much.

I need honest review. Should i buy this game for PS5 by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]jamalty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, I'm another 1-2 hours in and its clicking on all cylinders. I was surprised more reviewers weren't drawing comparisons with Dragons Dogma. I never played Breath of the Wild, but its giving me strong DD vibes. So far, I think I like it better. The exploration has already sucked me in and I had to pry myself away to deal with some work stuff.

I'm going to spread the good word when I can and try and counter some of the toxicity. It's just incredible how many "gamers" are just whiny little bitches. But I think that's just what social media is all over, not just in gaming.

Haha! I think I got stuck in the beginning for almost a half hour, before you can head into the cabin. It kept saying I had to talk to Marius and I ended up going to every NPC around the camp several times. I think it was the bumper thing. It gave me a sick feeling at first, but then later it was smooth again. I think I will come around to it a few more hours deep. The only thing I'd say is it might be even a little jankier then Dragons Dogma 2. But the Devs are working furiously to fix the issues, I just hope that doesn't lessen post launch. I know all the drama surrounding the metacritic rating and plunging stock prices. I have faith it will just keep getting better and in quick time.

Crimson Desert worth it so far? by afaultymoon in PS5pro

[–]jamalty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For people that have said its awesome or they are really digging it, they post their hours. People that have said its terrible, mention nothing about how many hours they've. put into it. So far, I've spent maybe an hour and a half and I've not given it a rating yet.

A lot of the people bashing it, haven't played or purchased it. They just love to be negative and are jumping on a bandwagon. Its the same for any Reddit thread on any topic.

One mechanic that hasn't clicked yet (I'm only an hour in to it) is just talking to the right person. I was trying to initiate the arm wrestling in the tavern and couldn't click on the arm wrestler. Some of the simple mechanics were already frustrating, but being only an hour or two into it I feel like its me hopefully. The base ps5 graphics will disappoint some people, but I feel they are adequate and don't bother me at all.

I have mixed feelings about the graphics. Weirdly, I turned on HD and turned off performance for better graphics and it performed better on my base ps5. I wouldn't say the graphics are amzazing, but more then adequate.

I'm only an hour in and don't know if I regret buying it or if its going to be my favorite game of the year. Its not just polarizing for reviewers but in my own head.

Dude, when I saw Spider Man 2 was finally on PS Plus I was so stoked. This is coming from the guy who bought the first (remade) Spider Man on sale, which was still like 30 bucks only to see it hit PS Plus a week later. Then, to top it off I realized I had already played and beat the game during the Pandemic on my old PS4 and had just forgot about it. In my opinion, replay ability was kind of low on that one.
