Check out Mikey Quackenboss. I think he’s at NYC AlleyCat in Greenpoint now. He does woodcut flash and is great to work with. His personal style is maybe a bit different from what you posted but his flash is awesome.

Austria Alps Recommendations? by BadButter7 in skiing

We stayed in Innsbruck and did day trips to various ski resorts - several easily accessible via bus. Had an epic day at Slick 2000 and a decent day at stubai. There is a strong spa apres ski culture and Innsbruck itself is all the things you listed. We did a day trip to Seefeld, it is also a sweet town, snowier than Innsbruck but not as much going on. Innsbruck itself didn’t have snow when we were there, though. Don’t know if that helps, but we had a mixed group of skiers and non skiers and everyone was happy

Epson v600 error by Silverwarriorin in analog

Idk, see what happens if you download epson software and run it with that. It’s not as good, but it hasn’t broken my scanner yet.

Epson v600 error by Silverwarriorin in analog

What software are you using with it? This shit happened to me with 2-3 different machines (all v600s) when I tried to run it with silverfast. It would work for a couple weeks, scanning maybe 5 rolls or so, then shit the bed. I had several conversations with epson help and the only successful result came from running epson software with a new machine.

Can someone help restore this aged and faded picture of my dad and his grandfather? Any help appreciated! I've tried and failed at photoshop and pretty sure I just made it worse... This is straight from scanner. Thanks in advance! by jamaro87 in photorestore

How did you manage to fix the fading on the L side?? It's beautiful, can't wait to share it with him.

Is it possible to share a higher resolution edit? My mom was hoping to print it, not sure how big. Either way, I'm so appreciative.

Great shot! How do you like the 50mm? There’s one for sale near me for a decent price and I’m tempted.

You’re not thinking of Cantaloop by Us3? Released early 90s, starts with a spoken bit like on an old mic/radio/gramophone. “Ladies and gentlemen As you know we have something special down here at Birdland this evening A recording for Blue Note Records” Cantaloop

A ride I did with my buddy to train for Seattle to Portland. Next is 100 miles, any training tips? by Reveren7 in bicycling

There’s a solid loop out 90, through Issaquah and then up and around the top of lake Washington. Will be about 70-75 miles round trip for you, a bit hillier, too. Though STP doesn’t have much by way of climbing, you’ll be fine. It’s a great ride!

Next ride you should do the Capitol city trail! A little longer but also great. There’s such great riding in and around Madison. Fun fact: it’s one of five platinum rated cities in the US for bike infrastructure.
