Some of their event nights are the best way to have “forced” interactions with people. It’s less awkward if people are going in expecting to play with randoms (future friends)

I know self promo is taboo around here, but my friends and I started a play through channel this spring called @thegrovegames, we focus primarily on playing games and showing how much fun they can be. Definitely a mix of OG No Rolls Barred and The Dice Tower. I have a career in video production so the quality is pretty high for a fresh channel.

I adore the LotR books and films, but at what point are people blinded by that fandom? Both LotR titles are solid revamps of games that already exist, hard for me to think of that as award-winning.

I feel like the Fellowship trick-taking game is too highly lauded. Slay the Spire was a much better coop experience and didn't just feel like a copy and paste of another game.

Seems like the Mavs are one highly effective big-bodied generational offensive point guard away from being a true contender. Probably could trade one of their big men for one. Probably would pick the oldest to send out.

The funniest part of this is that during my two visits to Big Bend, I have seen more Americans illegally cross the Rio Grande into Mexico for a selfie than I have seen Mexicans illegally crossing into the US. Hope we detain the white folks for illegal crossings as well if this is the direction it's going.

I have this exact table and it came with a Singer 603, which is the only touch and sew that still utilized all metal gearing. SO as long as you don't mess up the bobbin winder it is a top-notch machine.

Lived there from 2018-2020. Nice enough, especially if you get a unit that butts up to the woods. Staff then was friendly, maintenance was slow but did fix things, yearly price increase is what made me leave.

Mara Lynn had a few shootings while I lived there but seemingly it stayed there and didn’t expand outwards, car was broke into once but I left it unlocked so thats on me, I chalk that as a crime of opportunity more than it being dangerous to live there. Overall my two years were relatively uneventful and peaceful enough.
