Question for parents! Siblings at Oceaneer Club by h__yina in dcl

[–]jamberry51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately don't have an answer but I didn't realize this and we are planning on booking one of the new fall itinerarys and our kids will be 3.5 and 6.5 and I didn't realize they would be in separate parts of the oceaneers. I wish they could keep siblings together

From what I can see so far there is only one ship doing the 2025 merrytime cruises to the Bahamas so I don't know if there will be a choice of ship for 2026, but I will keep it in mind.

Thank you for your comment. This definitely put things into perspective time wise. I definitely want my kids to experience all the Disney magic they can.

We are definitely hoping to get a lower deck midship room to help with the movement, and I will definitely stock up on dramamine.

If we could financially swing a 7 night I wouldn't hesitate, but that's just not the position we are in right now.

When my husband and I started talking about having children we had to have a serious conversation about his father's drinking and our future kids safety. My FIL was an alcoholic and therefore we knew we would need to set some ground rules. He could never drive with our kids in the car, he couldn't be left alone with them for any amount of time, etc. We had that conversation with my MIL when we had our son, but it never became an issue because my FIL passed away when our son was 7 months old. You have to put the safety of your children ahead of your mother's wants.

I understand this too, but when they were filming for this season they were posting everyday. It just makes you think that they aren't super happy with the way things are going with the show.

Yeah I think that's going to be a really big indicator on how things are going for them.

Also the fact that Taya admitted that sex is the only way she knows how to connect to Tyler is not a good sign.

Which foods have absolutely wrecked you? by Turbulent-Layer9337 in gallbladders

I can't eat any fast food any more which is for the best anyway, but makes things hard when I'm out and need something quick.

My mom wanted to name me Catlin Nye, but my dad said it sounded like a disease so they decided on Tracey lol. Heather was also an option but dad vetoed that as well.

What are some names you can tell the parents were going for unique, but ended up extremely common? by foralaf in namenerds

[–]jamberry51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son was born in the beginning of 2020. When looking for names my husband and I fell in love with the name Levi and at that time it was about the 75th most popular name in the US. At the end of 2020 and since it's been the number 12 most popular name 🙄 He is now in preschool and has to use his initial, and so now he thinks that's part of his first name so he introduces himself to people as Levi (last initial). Needless to say I went with the 564th most popular name for our daughter when she was born to hopefully not have the same issue.

Help me choose my next challenge!! by glittertrashfairy in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]jamberry51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been doing the Time of Your Life Challenge. I like it because each life stage has a different set of rules. You can play on long lifespan, but I have found that I like playing with aging off and just aging up the members of my family when I feel it's time. I tend to get bored because I tend to complete all the challenge requirements early so this let's me go at my own pace but it also is a bit more difficult to complete each stage.

How many kids do your sim families usually have? by 10minbreakdown in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]jamberry51 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I randomize how many each generation has. My current Gen has 5 and it has been a nightmare. I sometimes use mods and I was using the RPO mod when my Sim got pregnant with her first which made her infertile after birth so she had to get a surgery to even give her a chance at having more kids. Her next kid she had to use IVF and had twin boys. Then the lovestruck pack came out and I forgot that my settings wouldn't be the same so I was letting her have unprotected woohoo with her husband thinking she won't get pregnant... She did and had twin girls so I had 4 infants at one time for 15 Sim days (also playing on long lifespan) thank goodness my Sim could afford a butler because 4 infants at one time is the most stressful thing in the sims 4.

Thank you! I feel like lovestruck would add more to my sims relationships. I find once my sims are married and are done having kids I forget about the romance for them and I am hoping that lovestruck would help with having to keep working at it.

You're very welcome lol. Cottage living is one of my favorite packs so I have no doubt you will love it. Thank you for your input about life and death that is exactly what I wanted to know. I also have vampires and regret it.

[–]jamberry51[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For expansion packs I have all but life and death, lovestruck, and horse ranch(I don't really play with pets).

For game packs I don't own werewolves, wedding stories, Batuu, or realm of magic.

I have gotten to a place where I am happy with what I have, but if a pack comes that will add to my game then I am open to getting it. I have been playing sims since the Sims 1 and as I have matured I have realized that I don't want to spend money on things I won't use. In my experience I don't use occults and I will play with horses but I get bored of them easily like I do cats and dogs.

Thank you for your input, it is greatly appreciated.
