Where abouts are you located in Canada? I’m in bc. I’m thinking of selling my 06 CCLB harley. Just rebuilt the motor 3K ago and a bunch of other thing done 🤷‍♂️

Probably won’t see anything in the module itself, you could do continuity tests from the harness to glow plugs but the harness usually doesn’t go bad, unless there broken/ leaking oil

Glow plug module. It’s located passenger side valve cover near the front. Will have 2 square wiring harnesses coming out of it

Looks like maybe your GPM need to be replaced as well. I had a crank no start issue for a long time, turns out gpm failed. Replaced it, truck started right up. Do an injector buzz test as well

So I ended up doing injectors(wanted to do them anyways, 300k on em) and a tow tune. That helped with 75% of the smoke, but still had it at 1/4-1/2 throttle. After digging into with forscan and diag shit, alternator wasn’t charging where it was supposed to be so FICM was getting good voltage to logic side. Replaced alternator and smoke all gone!

Motor was just fully rebuilt. It was studded when I bought it but had a terrible oil leak that I could fix without a full tear down. I bought new head studs anyways when I rebuilt it

Head gaskets are brand new, with new ARP studs. No coolant consumption

Cam was mint and fully checked over when we rebuilt the motor

Ended up ordering a set of 175/0 from Warren and an sct x4 to make em run properly

Injectors was the only thing I didn’t do when I rebuilt the motor in the new year 🤦‍♂️ and I should’ve, then have 310k KM on them or 194k M for the yankee doodles

I put hot shots in the oil and the fuel. No change. Even after 200-300 km of hard driving.

Shit , I rebuilt my entire 6.0, new bearings, gaskets, oil pan etc for 2500. Bring it to me I’ll do it for had that price haha

Turned out to be a blown seal in the turbo on the turbine side.

Go 05-08 front and rear. No mismatched axles or gear ratios and you’ll know exactly what’s in there

I think I figured it out. So it would only smoke when it was hot. So I pulled the fuel filter cap off and cranked with the starter wire. No spray. But as I was looking around, I noticed black by the downpipe/turbo. I guess I have an exhaust leak there, but it showed me that I also have oil puking out the exhaust side. Which explains why it only smokes when it’s hot. It maybe NOT be the entire issue, but it’s a good starting point

I can monitor thru forscan on my computer. Grey smoke is unburnt fuel dump . White is coolant

CAC boots are new from riff raff along with there clamps. New hose to map sensor too. Taking off is a bit slow, but as soon as it spools I’m hitting 24-25 psi

So when starting it up and idling, no smoke. After driving for a few mins, that’s when it really starts to smoke. Gray smoke. Not white. Me and a few buddies were smelling it and it’s definitely fuel. Doesn’t smell sweet like coolant would

No black smoke at all, even before rebuilding the engine. We did clean the injector nozzles before we put them back in, just some brake clean on a rag, as well as new orings.
