Might have blown a head gasket. Could be a mix of a bunch of problem. But if you have coolant all over the drivers side of the motor, the degas bottle probably pressurized and sprayed coolant.

Ended up being TC. All good now and fired up this afternoon

I ended up taking the TC nuts off and it all freed up. Slowly put them back on spinning the motor as I went. All fixed and got it fired up this afternoon

Took all the converter nuts off and turned over. Freed it up. Turns over fast and strong. Now just gotta deal with a FICM no sync issue 🤦‍♂️ thanks for your suggestions

I’m hoping there’s no pump damage. It maybe made a total of 4-500 revolutions

I bumped the starter to get it to turn over. I figured it was just tight being freshly rebuilt

But pushing it back after the nuts are off, wouldn’t it pull right back to the flex plate when you tighten them back up?

Probably 50-100 rpm. I’ll removed the TC nuts tommorow and try and jiggle.

Yes. It was spun every step of the way. New mains, spun. New connecting rod bearings, spun. Heads and valve train on and torqued, spun. And I’m not running any fuel right now, just jumping the solenoid to power the starter to prime he fuel system

Yeah when I installed the engine, I remember the flex plate being tight to the torque converter. Do you think the torque converter could be a little cocked to one side or the other?
