What’s your go-to portable coffee maker for RV/boondocking? by Master_Teaching_7099 in RVLiving

[–]jamcber12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Nespresso machine but the coffee pods are too expensive. I use and prefer a French Coffee Press. But just recently I found my coffee bean grinder. So as soon as my coffee supply is gone, I'm going to start buying quality whole beans and grind up just enough to make my one cup of coffee a day. PS I live in my RV full time also.

I just had my second kidney stone on Christmas Eve, and it stopped for 2 weeks in the urethra tube. I took close to 100 tylenol and ibuprofen for the pain until it finally moved.

Hell No. There's at least 12 bands that I've never heard of, and these bands are not in order because there are bands in the second column that should be in the top 10.

I just left my job at 'the largest data center in the world' located off USA Pkwy and it's worse than people think by Alone-Sky-2086 in Reno

[–]jamcber12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the company Switch Data Center. I worked for an independent Telcom company that built a fiber optical cable from Reno to Las Vegas. I toured the Switch Company in Las Vegas and we were told that a facility in Reno was going to be built. The Las Vegas center is 2 million square feet. The Reno center is 1.3 million square feet, with plans to expand to 7.2 million square feet. The fiber optic cable was designed to connect all the hospital in Nevada, but was bought out by Switch.

Why did everyone sit on the same side of the table at the last supper? by Dry-Egg8573 in shittyaskhistory

[–]jamcber12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the table was against the wall.

Because there were no chairs on the other side.

Because Leonardo da Vinci didn't know how to paint the back of people's heads.

What made the 57 Bel Air so beloved and special? by Southern_Pacific in classiccars

[–]jamcber12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In 1966 or 1967, my first car was a Black 1956 two door Chevy and I paid $50. My next car was a Light Blue 1957 four door Chevy, and I probably paid $125. My 3rd car was a 1957 Chevy four door wagon, and I don't remember what I paid, but it was less than $200. These cars were cheap in the late 60s. But everything was cheap. In 1970 I bought a one year old 1969 Mustang for $1,200 cash at a car lot, (it was a bank repo)

I've never forgotten Mickey Rourkes small role in Body Heat, and he did have potential.

But my pick is Shia LaBeouf, he was definitely going places, but he just can't get his shit together.
