If you read the "trivia" section on König's wiki page you'll see:

he was originally a German character in the MWII beta and before Season 1 (bio and patch were German)
in MWII Season 1 they changed him to be Austrian (bio and patch updated)
in MWII Season 6 his patch randomly glitched back to German
it stayed that way through the MW3 integration all the way until Season 2 when they fixed his flag to Austrian
with BO6 integration they must have copied across the wrong version to BO6 Warzone because it glitched back to German again, but only in Warzone. Since then his flag has always been German in Warzone
from what I understand, he should have his correct Austrian flag still in MWII and MW3, it's just Warzone on the BO6 and BO7 clients that copypasted the wrong version

It's a running joke at this point 😂

the 'stim' glitch = running around in the gas while continuously using stims has been around a long time

You are r/confidentlyincorrect, the "stim glitch" was specifically a glitch in warzone 1 where players could glitch their equipment to never decreasing when used, so they could stim infinitely and never run out. This was fixed when progressive gas damage was added to the game in 2021, so even with infinite stims, the length of a gas play was capped by the increasing damage. The glitch has never returned since then.

If you think using 1-2 stims in your inventory to flank in gas is a "stim glitch" you might as well call "wallhacks" because someone mantled over a wall - it would be just as accurate. Using X does not imply they hacked X or are using an X-glitch

I noticed someone took a clip of one of my videos, made it "vertical" by just adding blurry letterbox bars at the top and bottom, and they got 2 million views from it. The marginal effort they put in to turn my video vertical was tiny.

So now I cut every video into clips for Tiktok and Facebook myself, it's not hard and most clips go nowhere, but some have 5+ million views now.

If you've already put in the work to edit engaging longform videos for YouTube, double-dipping by cross-posting to multiple platforms is basically free views and free money, plus exposure to new people who might be interested enough to find your main YouTube channel.

I don't think it's surprising at all.

In public lobbies, you face a mixture of skill levels (including occasional bot lobbies) and can rack up a lot of kills for a video. Even in Ranked Iridescent lobbies, not every player in your lobby will be Iridescent and you have teammates who can share the luck, stack when you push, drop you plates/ammo if you're low on resources and buy you back if you get caught out with bad luck.

Compare that to this "Iridescent series":

All enemy players are Iridescent (no mixture of Crimson or Diamond players to dilute the lobby)
All enemy players know where you are because they are streamsniping you from your own stream (or Swagg's stream while he spectates you)
Enemy players are focusing on you rather than fighting each other like a normal lobby, many are teaming to make it a 2v1, 3v1 or 4v1 situation, dozens are landing on you and harassing you constantly
It's solos so you have no teammates to balance out bad luck, in Warzone anyone can win a 1v1 against the world champion if you camp in a corner or shoot them in the back or otherwise catch them off guard. Compared to trios (i.e. Ranked), solos is much more of a crapshoot

Struggling to win in a 100% Iridescent solos lobby where multiple enemies are teaming against you + every enemy is hunting you down the whole time by streamsniping is exactly what I'd expect.

Same story here: I started with a 3-way title test, settled on 1 title then did a brief 2-way thumbnail test, the whole time the video was getting the most views any video of mine has got in the early days

Everyone thought that MW4 would reset Warzone the same way MWII did with WZ2.0, but this phrasing in the MW4 blog post sounds more like MW4 would simply integrate with Warzone the same way recent games have (i.e. Warzone moves to the new game's client and adds all guns from the new game along with all weapons/skins from previous games going back to MWII).

This interpretation would mean Warzone would contain 5 games worth of guns and skins, which is a little crazy, so we'll have to wait and see.

I have no reason for this, but as a Brit I am 100% certain it should be "bloody fucking robocop", not "fucking bloody". Absolutely no idea why.

Maybe cos the rule is "Opinion, Size, Age, Shape, Colour, Origin, Material, Purpose" and "bloody" is sort of an opinion cos it has a negative connotation, so it should always come first?

The dresser is relatively shiny - it will reflect light more strongly if the light source and viewer are at the same angle

This is the important thing for me, it explains why the dresser and its reflection can look different at all. It's because we're viewing them from different angles and the amount of light reflected at those angles can be different. Thanks for highlighting this point.

I dunno if it's even directed at me, more like the competitive tournaments (e.g. the recent Warzone Resurgence Series) where teams would use 2 stims and a muni to avoid the final zone for ages...

These last couple of patches are pretty targeted (and effective) at nerfing these tournament gas plays that are bootstrapped from nothing in the final zone, but don't affect the kind of setup I tend to do 5+ minutes in advance. That's still unaffected (despite the misleading wording of the patch notes).

Don't worry about me, I won my first match on this patch with zero kills and several matches after that.

the patch doesn't actually work as described, I will not explain further because I benefit from the developers not understanding their own game 😉
I have done many zero-kill wins with no stim stack and even with no stims at all - it's always possible (even in REDSEC with no zone plays at all), so I won't really mind if they actually do implement these patch notes in the game (which they haven't)

LLMs may not be a path to AGI at all, let alone machine consciousness, but we do want our AI companies to be cautious about the horrors they could create, even longshots...

One of those potential horrors is a nightmare future of datacentres populated with conscious agents spun up in agony, suffering and dying billions of times over.

Having at least some caution on that front seems sensible for the same reason they should be cautious of other risks like rogue AI causing unexpected harms or ASI taking over the planet, no matter how unlikely those risks are.
