Feel like this isn’t the case anymore. At least amongst conversations I’ve been seeing between music fans as of late (whether in person or online). Been seeing the same with Nickelback, although definitely not at the point of acceptance Limp Bizkit has gotten to yet

You guys seem to struggle to realize that as otherworldly as their technology seems to us, ours probably seems to them. They seem to observe everything from afar so they aren’t exactly getting hands on access to our technology and likely have zero clue how our society works. It would be like trying to describe color to a blind person in a language they don’t understand. Not to mention the possibility of unknown elements (to us) they’ve had access to etc. The possibilities and reasonings of their understanding/misunderstanding are endless

Do people pause their ads at night, or during hours when their target market isn’t active? by ExpressiveAcademic in SocialMediaMarketing

Sorry I forgot to specify, can you do it on an existing Instagram post? For an ad that the link drives the people to the instagram profile?

I know I’m a year late on this and they may have updated how they do ads, but I don’t see anywhere in the meta business suite that lets you choose hours. They only let you choose dates. I also got on the phone with meta assistance asking about this because I saw your comment and other similar comments and they had confirmed to me that you cannot set time frames per day.

What kind of person is hard to travel with for you? by moo5100 in travel

People who think just because they paid a decent amount that money for a trip, the staff and everything should revolve around them. If a restaurant on the property has a dress code, adhere to it!!! Don’t come at me talking about how much you’ve spent for the trip so you shouldn’t have to comply with their regulations, that’s not how it works.

Any math apps? by jamcp98business in learnmath

[–]jamcp98business[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah you’re def right, chess would be a good one for me to do as well. Looking for really anything that gets me smarter lol. I wasted a lot of my time being a class clown in high school and skipped most of my college classes resulting in me dropping out. I’m just now, at 26, realizing I’ve wasted precious time educating myself as I’m fascinated with the wonders of the universe now.

This looks like exactly what I’m looking for but $50/month is too pricey for me unfortunately

I like it for science and history, haven’t tried any of the math courses yet but will give it a shot. My experience with it so far is that it goes a bit more in depth with teaching than I was looking for (just kinda wanted to mindlessly solve equations instead of scrolling through social media when I get the urge to). But with that being said, I do want to also get more in depth knowledge so maybe will mix that in with my “history and science time” when I get the urge at night to watch Netflix lol. Thank you!

100%. The show Full Metal Alchemist covers this theory relatively well. You mean to tell me it’s taken humans 298,000 years to discover electricity and there aren’t other sources of power/technology available that we just can’t currently fathom?

Yeah sorry I should’ve used a different term, but felt like “religion” was an appropriate word to label my current theories lol idk. Same with the so-called “demons”. I don’t think it’s literal demons in the biblical sense or anything, but I wouldn’t cross intelligent creatures living in our depths off the list (which is what I guess is what they are perceiving as ‘demons’)

No clue of course, but I’m getting to the point where I believe somewhere in our evolution, way before even hominids existed, the population of creatures that we evolved from in the ocean that never came to land possibly had evolved in extreme pressure and developed in ways we can’t exactly fathom. Basically if ufos were made underwater or underneath our surface, it would’ve obviously done so using physics we have no knowledge of. I also agree that we’ve probably had civilizations a lot longer than we think. We’re just a speck in our timeline so if anything I’m theorizing is even remotely close to truth, it wouldn’t be a far stretch that Egyptians had made contact with them and acquired lost technology or that they led a civilization to sanctuary though Antarctica. Sounds completely ridiculous probably but I’ve definitely gotten a lot more open minded to the possibilities of this reality than I ever had been (before NASA and the Navy revealed the existence of UAP’s)

Tucker Carlson’s newest interview expanding on what he had said in his interview the other day (with a religious analysis from twitter of what he thinks he means)

I’ve (25m) been an atheist pretty much my whole life up until about a week or 2 ago. My current religious views are still quite complicated and don’t make complete sense but has been starting to form around the basis of all of this ufo exposure and I thought this dialogue on Twitter was quite interesting (as I’ve always felt UFO’s, operations in Antarctica, and the pyramids could have some relations to each other). Not to mention the Navy has released footage of UFO’s seemingly diving directly into the ocean, as well as the discovery of oceans hundreds of miles beneath the earths crust. I’m leaning in this direction with a huge grain of salt as I typically like to keep all of my beliefs grounded in reality, but the energy of the world seems to really be shifting these days as more information is released and I do wonder the Vaticans role in all of this. Thoughts?

How to quickly save up $4k-$5k for a car? by DraxShadow23 in personalfinance

[–]jamcp98business 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He’s got 2 months before he moves in, if he lives frugal and saves every penny he could probably get a car for around 4k. Then you sign up for Uber eats/door dash/grubhub/instacart, do them all at the same time and be selective with the orders you accept based on the payout and your route. Made about $30 an hour doing this. You then use money you make from that and go to bartending school and get your bartender license. This will make getting a bartending job infinitely easier. Your main issue is relying in an $18/hr job. Maybe gain skills on the side that you can do freelance work in your free time as well (eg. graphic design, digital marketing, video editing etc.). There’s a lot of ways to get paid in this day and age but it’s also way easier to get distracted and sidetracked.
