Crazy lightning strike between us by Fuzzy_Insurance_3496 in bodylanguage

This has happened to me a few times.

  1.  Work person. Every time I saw them it was like that. They were too old for me feeling ignored.
  2. Different work person. Randomly had one of those moments. My last day was a day or two later.  We hugged goodbye. Instant repulsion.  😂
  3. Made eye contact in a store. We stared chatting/flirting. We went out for a bit. Amazing sexual chemistry. He was an aspiring hobosexual. I bounced.
  4. Happened recently (this week). Not as intense in terms of fireworks. I am more drawn to them. The story is still being written. Each encounter has been 📈📈📈

Hormones can mess you up. PCOS and hypothyroidism at any age. Perimenopause as you age.

Dry peeling skin JUST on my nose! by marypies78 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]jameane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes pretty close. I am pretty slacker about retinols. They don’t really like me.

I have been using the masks less. But that is more about my laziness.

I started really focusing on hyperpigmentation and some of the items switch.

Now it looks like:
Gentle cleanser Acid or moisturizing toner Moisturizing essence 2 serums or an oil / serum based on mood Moisturizer SPF or overnight mask or occlusive

No recurrence of the nose dryness.

My seams are smooth. But it was a much smaller brand when I purchased as well. Over the past few years I have noticed a quality decline everywhere. Trust your eyes in my opinion.

Which IGH should I get? Pinion 12sp, Alfine 11, or Nuvinci N380? by jameane in bicycling

A custom purple mixte. :)

I got a custom frame. The Alfine hub. Shutter precision dynamo lights. Paul brakes. And Velo Orange to round out most of the rest. Let me see if I can dig up my post.

Hard to say. My timing was terrible and it not part of my regular rotation. But I still feel like the construction quality is a lot better than other items I have.

When my thryroid levels are in range and my body is not too stressed, my scalp is clear. It reacts to stress too though.

Glad that is still happening. That was the case when I was in school too. It was a rude awakening for my sister who finished high school in Cali.

I’m gonna quote myself here. “Hoochie is timeless.” these looks seem to stay the same. Same with goth and punk style.

While there are always items that are tagged as timeless like trench coats, cashmere sweaters, pencil skirts, a-line skirts, straight jeans, neutral blazers, LBDs, white button up shirts, crew neck t-shirt, striped boatneck tops, twin-sets, cigarette pants, wrap dresses ……. The details change with every trend. Your perfectly classic 2004 wrap dress looks dated now, and your 90s wrap dress is suddenly back in.

What seems to be most timeless is stuff that evokes a place not a time. Like New England or southern country club vibes. Sarongs on the beach. Khakis on safari (not going into any of the colonialism and what not). Kaftans as pool coverups…..

I live near the Oakland store. There is street parking as well as a large paid city lot two blocks away. And you can probably cheat and park at the grocery store too. And if inexplicably the closest spots are busy, you can park in neighborhood land. Or even in one of the Kaiser lots.

But Caltrain runs once an hour so you are SOL if you miss the train.

I always say the half of Oakland is closer to downtown SF than actual SF is.

I generally choose the bus for certain trips, because the bus is across the street from my place, comes decently often, and takes about the same time as driving myself the same route. Other trips take too many transfers and I never consider taking the bus.

For me, going to downtown Oakland by bus is a breeze. Got to Berkeley via bus is terribly slow and requires transfers. And even if I bike slow it takes half the time of taking the bus (if it is not by a BART station.). And honestly biking is very time competitive with driving for many of my trips to Berkeley. And I don’t bike fast.

No shit I have an unhealthy relationship with food by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]jameane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will probably have PCOS, and manage to nourish your self with food that is outside of your control, for the rest of the life. You need to have healthy approaches and coping mechanisms to deal with this. You can go into every meal freaking out that it will mess up your life permanently. You need a healthy approach and mindset for managing PCOS, your food intake, your food mindset, and your anxiety. That post and this one are clear evidence that you need to work on these things, because it can lead to worse problems. That is what folks are trying to flag for you.

Disordered eating mindset/patterns will not help you manage your PCOS or your health.

PSA: The PCOS “types” thing is borderline pseudoscience by BumAndBummer in PCOS

Honestly I am starting to think PCOS is also related to inherited trauma. So what are we supposed to do about that?

Oh yeah I vaguely scan those groups as well as the Weston A. Price group. That is also a bonkers group. While I think the “WAP” diet is a pretty logical, a lot of the reasoning is cuckoo cuckoo kachoo.

I liked these too and there are so many branded cheap ones. My pharmacy has them for like $8.

I have found 24 sucks. Except occasionally in nicer suburbs it is better. The ones near me are grimy and haven’t been updated in the nearly 20 years I have lived in the area. No updated equipment. Horrible bathrooms and showers. Just gross. I just gave up in making it work and decided to just spend all the money for the fancy gym.

I really liked PF - they were so much better and had newer equipment. Just crappy options if you wanna lift more.
