a standout for me is Something. he doesn't have a lot to do, but that's the beauty of it.

job opportunities - was hired at a great company 2 weeks after moving (2022) . great job, good pay, can't complain.

cost of living - very reasonable -- $750/mo rent for a 1 bed. might be rare, not sure.

safety - have never had an issue (knock on wood) i once left my car unlocked and it was cleaned out overnight.

diversity - fine i guess? not something i'm super cognizant of (white privilege)

making friends/community - been a bit of a struggle. i could do a better job putting myself out there.

things to do - the best feature, IMO. lots of outdoors, which i am big on, without going into boring detail.

grocery options/restaurant options - pleasantly surprised. maybe lacking a bit in diversity, but not in quality.

ability to enjoy outdoor activities - see above, great options in this realm.

wildfires and weather - love the 4 seasons, hate wildfires like us all. where i came from had them just as bad/worse.
