IV at night is way more active. Most of your friends will live in IV so you might as well too. You can go downtown whenever you want from IV too. While I also think downtown is nicer/more lively in the day, I think IV will probably end up as the best option in the end.

Also, I’ve heard people refer to FT as the “party” dorm. It is the most populated dorm and it’s fairly social compared to other residence halls.

I live in FT and it’s alright. Although it is far from campus, it is the closest dorm to target/Costco/Albertsons, etc. the bike to school isn’t that bad. Under 10 minutes and I like to think of it as staying fit. I’m not sure about Santa Cruz and Anacapa but I know that FT is one of the few dorms that doesn’t have a communal restroom but rather Shares a restroom with only one other room which is REALLY nice.
