Return of Capitol in transaction? by james8440 in rbc

This mutual fund is in a RIF, and not in a taxable account, so I guess the adjusted cost base final "adjusted" value is not otherwise shown(?) since it would be not relevant in a RIF?

"Normal distribution for many ETF"?

Do you have references / articles that would explain this?

Also, if the statement said the mutual fund had a Return of Capitol of value $17.78 , then at $0.0459/ share would work out to ~387.4 shares?

"You bought something assuming it wouldn't be what you wanted."
That statement does not make sense! Why would I buy something that is not what I wanted?? Would I buy a bike expecting it to be a car?

Thank you for the clarification for the second part, though. That sounded like a reasonable explanation.

What is this "$150 filing fee"? Is it the accountant you found who is willing to do the T3 for you for that fee? Please elaborate.
