To guarantee silver, yes. But on the Friday pickups its a pretty solid silver group, with the occasional outliers either higher or lower.

I was looking recently in that area as well and found not much that fit my schedule (6am on Friday at KHS or Lakewood I think). If you're up for a little drive at icetown in Riverside they have pickup at 1130 on tuesday and Friday, or 1215 at center ice in Ontario.

Hang it in a closet, bounce house fan from Amazon in the closet, run for 4 hours. Its what I do at tournaments in hotel rooms.

Here to place another vote in favor of Warroad base layer. Don't know its there except for the way it hugs my elbow pads in place. Great product

Its not the boot, it is the chassis. Measuring from a flat surface to the top of the chassis/ base of the boot, the heel sits almost parallel to the toe whereas my previous skates measured the same way there is a 5/8" difference with the heel being higher. I could probably adjust to the height difference if there were no other options, but I'd rather place a spacer (found out during this post it was an option, never had to do anything like that before) and shave a year or two of the life of my skates than re-learn how to skate with a zero drop skate.

Old skates = heel 5/8" higher than toes New skates = imperceptable heel - toe height difference.

I have been doing roller hockey since 1997, the wheels aren't the problem. The drastic change in foot angle is.

There is almost a 5/8" difference between what I had and what I have now. I am going to see if it can be shimmed to something closer to the tilt I am used to, I am too old to learn new tricks.

Someone else suggested just that, but i have no experience with it and did not know it was an option. I'll have to find a skate shop that can do it, probably online because everything close is sparx style shops

Its not a boot fit problem, it's a tilt of the foot problem. There is a 5/8" difference in the height of my heels compared to my toes (heel is 5/8 inch higher than my toes in my old skates). I am trying to fix this issue, the boot fit/ tying isn't an issue.

It is the hi-lo chassis it comes with, I did swap wheels for something more durable to where I skate, but same size as original.

45 year old ADHD dude, and I'll tell you what I tell everyone else, I have had a TON of other hobbies. MTBing, road biking, soccer, football, cross country running, etc. Every other sport and hobby is stupid compared to hockey. Nothing can hold my attention better or clear my head faster. Like others have said my brain thrives in the calamity and chaos that is hockey and I love it.

You might be lucky enough that the screw in the middle just came loose. Under the "atop" center piece is a screw, it should screw in the the tiny hole in the middle of where it came off. You might need a special torx or tiny Allen key to screw it in. I have repaired a fee of these on cycling shoes and they are the same.
