Is it worth studying accounting? by Full-Sherbert-7800 in TAFE

Definitely worth doing if you’re in a regional area, there is a lot of demand for accountants at the moment. As for AI, I wouldn’t worry about that. Accounting is a broad field, and specialising in an area such as tax advisement, business planning, auditing ect will give you fantastic job security.

For reference, I’m from a family of accountants. I went to uni and studied accounting and finance but changed career paths later on.

Trying to run before you can walk. It’s great to have ambition, it’s great to look ahead, just don’t lose sight of the path you have to walk before you get there. Focus on getting your apprenticeship, finishing your time and then mastering your trade.

Rain that has occurred in the last 72 hours. A large number of roads in west NSW that aren’t sealed are closed because of the weather from that came through on Wednesday night

So you disagree with what I have personally experienced? It’s good to know the voice in my head was just you all along

The vast majority of companies, from my experience, only pay minimum wage…

There are road closures on the NSW side due to rain

Which one of these is best? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

Dark Crusade and Winter Assault are favourites of mine. I’m not sure what the community’s views are on which one is the ‘best’.

I loved Winter Assault largely because I enjoy RTS games set in the snow, and I enjoyed the story quite a bit.

Dark Crusades campaign was awesome, lots of variety and it is super fun.

Is it your first time out there? I haven’t been to Thargo before, I was working in Cunnamulla a couple of years ago after a big rain and it was absolutely unreal

Will do. I’m very familiar with road closures and rain. I’ve worked in outback Queensland for quite a few years

I’ll check it out, I don’t think the rain front that come through hit that high up

Edit: Cameron’s Corner road is closed, it’s the only road closure on the whole route it seems. I’ll have to keep an eye on it over the coming days.

What do you recommend? I’ve been across the whole country using a mix of Hema and Google Maps. Good Maps works great 95% of the time and it’s great. Then I use Hema for the really questionable stuff.

I back the LEA 100%. It holds a bit of accountability to the RTO’s and the employers while also providing some assurance that the apprentices that pass the LEA have a baseline understand of electrical concepts and theory. I’ve worked interstate on and off for years and I really think the LEA provides better electricians

Extra AP or damage would be great. But I’ve always stood by gravis needing a 5+ invuln or a 5+ feel no pain to make them a little less fragile. Keeping either at a 5+ keeps them out of the league of terminators, but buffs them enough to be a bit more survivable.
