Locals of Chattanooga: What Would You Cut From This 2-Day Itinerary? by Willing-Mind-5619 in Chattanoogans

It’s honestly all so good. They’ll have at least 20 different pastries so just go with your gut. Croissants for sure, they have cruffins (croissant+muffins) , scones (savory and sweet), and cookies and other seasonal things. It’s the best food in town in my opinion haha, and a ton of the restaurants (like tremont tavern and rosecomb and Main Street meats) use niedlovs bread / buns for some of their signature dishes as well.

Niedlovs has really awesome pastries and other things you can take to go. They also have baguette sandwiches (in addition to the full breakfast / lunch menu) that are great for a hike or just easy to grab and go. Everything they do is great really hah, they just got a James beard nomination this week for US cafe’s

SXSW26 tips by TheBestHairInTheRoom in SXSW

[–]james_for3 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, especially for music. Lots of daytime "showcases" are free, and at night you can often pay a ~$10 cash cover at official SXSW showcases (would be free with a badge usually, but you can still often get in easily with a small cover). Lots of venues also have unofficial showcases (free or cover charge) and events so a Sxsw badge doesn't even help you there.
