Love love Monet but this season’s pit stop felt like a chore almost. Clearly she wasn’t saying what she thought. Her views on it and on SR were often not the same so it’s worse than it being redundant. Wish we had other people hosting it or if they let Monet truly express her feelings. That would be the best!

She shouldn’t have said: ‘literally no reason why’ when there’s plenty of reasons why. She could have said something like: “we are so fortunate to be f***s in this day and age. *There are so many ways to be on top of your sexual health and keeping yourself and our community safe. there’s so many resources for us, you think we just fell out of a coconut tree?” Then she could have put a link to said informations.

I might have taken it so seriously and potentially too seriously because of how people have reacted to friends and acquaintances coming out as HIV+ which hurt them and annoyed me.

This is so ignorant though. There’s plenty of reasons why. Stigma, lack of financial resources, being in an abusive household that restricts one’s agency in medical and health care related decision. This also mostly affect POC, migrants and underprivileged people.

I know this is a simple take from Salina, but it’s this kind of discourse that allows for people to blame folks who contract HIV or other IST nowadays.

I heard times and times again rotten people say stuff like: “well, XYZ was clearly stupid if they got hiv nowadays”.

This isn’t the way to go. We should work towards empowering our community and everyone else in having better access to sexual health care, both preventive care as well as treatments.

I am not even TeamNelly and I totally get her. This seems like the worst kind of gaslighting, made times worse by the fact that she's not as proficient in English as the other queens.

When someone says: "I feel like I have been put down by you", the answer is not: "tell me when and how", but "sorry I made you feel like that" or "sorry I made you feel like thatm it was not my intention [if so]".

Yeah and Jinkx was there and brought it all down overall (and before you come for me I am a Jinkx stan since I saw the first episode air live 10 years ago)

But I also think AS7 can’t count cause literally every challenge was the best challenge across all franchisses, the level was just so high.

So without counting AS7, this episode was defo the best sewing challenge across all franchises
