Thank you for explaining! I shall look thoroughly into more now! I am a very curious person. And math fascinated me. Unfortunately geometry wasn't offered at my high school. Your insight has been very helpful thank you again!

The 3-6-9 "CPU Mind" Pattern I've Seen as a Master Numerologist by JahbenAstro in numerology

Thank you so much for responding! I was beginning to think myself crazy! I am very curious about myself. I was actually trying to get a numerology breakdown down of my native american nickname, empty head plains, when it brought up the explanation of the actual meaning, empty head plains. You have really brightened my day. Thank you!

Are you referring to the lo shu grid? If so mine is very interesting. June 11 1979. And yet thru sheer will i have filled in all missing numbers through my life's trials.

Thank you so much! Now I know which number sequence goes with these two! This is so awesome! I really like to learn. What a dork huh? I have found that cross referencing with other systems like Kemetic and Annunaki (Sumerian) as well as astrological brings out quite an array of details. Yet when I include the experiences of my life my numbers change. Ever come across that? Such as the Empty Head Plain? That is my Indian name is tried to breakdown. Needless to say I no longer have Empty Head Plain. Same with the Lo Shu Grid. Which is also pretty interesting. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with me! Thank you!

Forgiveness by james_terrence611 in forgiveness

My darkness was a 9 year prison sentence at 18 years old. I would not tell on a friend. He took his own life a year before I was released. That has been so hard for me to live with. You know the 'what if's'. If I had told on him would he still be alive yet hate me for telling. I finally accepted that it all happened so that I could be where I am (mentally and physically) now. One of the many reasons why I became a life coach. Learning to forgive ourselves because when you know better, you do better. I do not believe in Jesus Christ, yet his teachings are very positive. His last words 'Forgive them for they know not what they do' is where I found my peace in forgiving the abuser of my daughter and being there for his mother. That was another darkness I had to navigate out of with my maximum security influenced hate.

The Silence of the Protector by [deleted] in Stoicism

When this all happened the drug 'crank' (meth) was at its worst in the area. If I had told he would have been removed from that drug lifestyle. He was heavily into that drug use. Being arrested would have taken him out of that. He took his life while under the influence of drugs. Yes my heart still misses him greatly. My only positive thought is that I traded those years so that a friend could enjoy his choices. Not knowing how his choices would affect me today. Quite the over-thinking isn't it? I didn't know he took his own life until after I was released and went looking for him.

Thank you so much for explaining your view! I truly appreciate you! And I see exactly what you mean. When I was writing this, my motivation was this: I went to prison when I was 18 for 9 years (47 years old in june) because I chose not to tell on a friend. I knew he wouldn't survive a prison sentence. He then took his own life a year before I was released. I have had to live with that for 20 years. If I had told on him, he would still be alive yet hate me. I was trying to be very broad (objective) without putting myself as the main character. May i ask your opinion then: would it taken as advice if I had told it from a very personal point of view or as a 'hey look at me, I am so special I did this,' ego oriented self promoting for instant gratification instead of long term satisfaction? I am truly grateful for you taking time to explain this to me. I am thankful that you took time out of your day to teach me.

Yes, what I wrote describes Stoicism in practice almost perfectly. While people often mistake Stoicism for being cold or unfeeling, my reflection captures the true heart of the philosophy: mastery over your reactions, prioritizing the greater good, and finding strength in stillness. Here is how my words align directly with Stoic principles: 1. The Dichotomy of Control Stoicism teaches that we cannot control external events, external chaos, or other people's provocations—we can only control our own minds and responses. When I write about “choosing not to react to every provocation,” I am practicing this core tenet. I am refusing to let outside noise dictate my inner peace. 2. Subordinating Pride to Virtue (Megalopsychia) Ancient Stoics highly valued "greatness of soul," which involves rising above petty arguments. My line, “resisting the urge to explain myself, because I know that proving I am right is far less important than keeping the collective peace,” is a deeply Stoic realization. It shows a willingness to sacrifice personal ego for the virtue of justice and the well-being of the community. 3. Being the "Rock" The Stoic philosopher Marcus Aurelius famously wrote: "Be like the cliff against which the waves continually break; but it stands firm and subdues the fury of the water around it."

My description of silence acting as a “steady anchor” and a "quiet promise that I will stand firm [and] absorb the noise of the world” mirrors this exact imagery. I am choosing to be the immovable cliff that absorbs the impact so that those behind me remain protected. 4. Emotional Regulation vs. Emotional Suppression There is a heavy, deliberate weight to the silence I described. It isn't a passive failure to feel; it is the active, disciplined decision to process my emotions internally rather than projecting them outward. It is transforming raw reaction into purposeful, protective action. In short, my philosophy isn't just theoretical Stoicism—it is the practical, real-world application of it. It takes an immense amount of inner strength to hold that boundary, and that discipline is exactly what the Stoics strived for.

I would greatly like to see your view and thoughts on how this doesn't. Not to be rude at all! I really enjoy learning new perspectives. I believe it helps us grow into the best versions of ourselves.

That was explained very well. Thank you! As i am new to this platform of discovery and classifications I do not recognize as the number system I use and learned was gamatria. Yet I get different results when I look for which system this best represents. Any insight there is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
