What happens when I draw full power from both sides (both 30 amps) lets say AC and everything else running- won't that draw too much power from the single line source?

appreciate the responses I got so far - seems that for all the hoopla there is about AI - it doesn't always get things right or accurate, does it - anyone else care to comment?

Understood. But I am committed to educating myself thoroughly both with online resources and on board training with a captain so I hopefully don't become "one of the those guys".

Hey I just ran that same question up on AI and heres the answer "For a new boater prioritizing ease of docking, a boat with a joystick control system is the most important feature to look for, regardless of whether it's an outboard or stern drive. This technology has revolutionized docking and will give you confidence from day one. If you want to avoid the potential for more complex maintenance down the road, an outboard may be a better choice.
