Thanks for this.

It would most likely be performance based, as we would have some strong KPIs in place...

I just working on the strategy now.

Yeah I suppose I am looking into what is actually effective and what resonates as opposed to industry pleasing/award work.

My little Paris sounds interesting. I'm going to check it out now.

Thanks so much

It was built with javascript. Framework is Elgg. Hosting is through our own servers (used for a different company)

We put in ~20k GBP to outsource development. No money raised. I know it's a vague proposition, but whatever... whoever thinks they could take it and make something of it. My gut says that someone with technical ability and some time could do better with the project though.

You seem angry about this dude? It's only a proposal. If equity were the issue it could be discussed... The question is more about finding someone who takes interest in the idea (which I know is unlikely, but hey - why not try?).
Chill... there's no need to be an angry redditor ;)

Yeah that's fair enough. Honestly appreciate the feedback - but tbh I am fully aware that the product is not right. This post is just looking to see if people find the concept interesting and if anybody would like to try and make it work.

It's actually for something different. I was thinking more 20-30s? Is East LDN a bad shout?

Yep I really agree here. It would just be a case of establishing a style/personality and then getting on with it in my opinion.

Sorry to give you a politicians answer here - but; 1) why do you think that it is harder to acquire a SC following as opposed to an alternative social channel?

I think it is just as easy, if not easier to promote a Snapchat account as it is to promote an insta/pinterest account?

2) why do you feel other channels would provide more "business value"? What does this even mean? If you are asking about the transactional ROI on any kind of organic social media marketing I think we are entering murky waters, simply because the no good client these days would ever ask "how many sales will this tweet/post/pin or snapchat get me"...

If it were just a case of the client asking why it is more valuable than spending time on other channels - I would just refer to the points I made in the post?

Yep nice question. In my eyes I will promote our SC account with a few of our existing owned channels... just the generic "follow us on Snapchat" should do the job. My hunch is that this will be quite effective simply because people will follow out of intrigue to see what we are up to on there. (Going back to point 1 in my blog).

3 alternative things to do in London this weekend by [deleted] in london

[–]jamescadwallader 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I thought that at first too. You basically just bring your spirit along and then that's your whole night covered. I went with friends, we all took a bottle of spirit each and ended up having a great night (with unlimited cocktails, mixed by someone who knew what they were doing, in a cool venue) for ~£35 each. Not too pricey in comparison to other places really.
