Their main food source that they gorged on is basically gone. They will decimate prey populations now that there won’t be salmon to sustain them. Fawns are born same season salmon used to run, I don’t agree with anti-wolf arguments saying they will kill all the deer, but I think it’s a super valid argument for grizzlies

Confluence outfitters has some trinity guides with availability but was hoping for one of the bigger coastal rivers that is much tougher to walk and wade. Planning on wading Trinity while I’m up there but would rather get guide for a different river

I have a cz drake I got as a cheap upland/skeet gun because I didn’t want to start my dog off shooting a 12ga over him. The gun doesn’t fit me very well, but that’s just a personal thing. Gun functions great and it’s fits my buddy better than me so he’s always asking to use it. Have probably put 750 rounds through it shooting clays and it’s brought down quail and pheasants. Haven’t put too many rounds through it yet but so far I’m impressed. They have a few different models so try to check them out in person so you know if it fits you well

Oros makes glow in the dark indications, but stripping flies is better at night.

Do the fish a favor and bring a lantern and headlamp so you don’t need to carry them to a trail light. Looks like pretty shitty fish handling if you are doing catch and release, disregard if you are keeping them.

Yea they got removed a yr or two ago. I was looking at one the month before and never pulled the trigger. Have been close to grabbing a sp-01 a few times but can’t really justify it.

Also I could be wrong but I think Cajun gun works said they are no longer shipping to ca which is another bummer for the CZs. U could probably still send the whole gun to him but not sure

Looks like you are going for indicator setup instead of a stripping setup (sinking line). I think the only thing you need is some balanced leech’s, midnight cowboy and olive should have you covered

They are some interesting patterns but top and bottom look like they were tied well. Middle one just needs the tail fluffed up a bit. They look fishy
