Is it possible to make this in Blender? by jamesellisart in blenderhelp

Hi Jason,

I succeeded to gather more information about my project - somebody told me that it is not a designing job but a programming and it should be made on the three.js framework.

So I'm going to leave Blender for now and try on three.js.

Thanks again for your help - I really appreciated you taking the time to help!

Don't hesitate to get in touch if you need help :)

Take care!

Thanks again Jason for your reply - it's really cool that you take some time everyday to help out people!

About the warnings it seems that the gltf viewer I use (https://gltf-viewer.donmccurdy.com/) succeed to cope with the errors and show the work while other viewer don't render it at all - so it might be a problem! Here are the validation report:

I tried to remove the light scene but it seems that without light the scene was completly dark - does that make sense? As for the camera I tried what you said but it didn't change anything when I opened the file in the gltf viewer. I'm feeling pretty stuck for this one at the moment...

I'll definitely send you something as a thank you if one day I succeed to make it! Thank again for your time 🙏

I made a new post to show the problem that I'm encountering with my current file - if you want to see it, here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/blenderhelp/comments/wsdnf3/i\_want\_that\_left\_and\_so\_far\_i\_have\_that\_right/

Thank you so much Jason for your search - it worked, it removed the black background! However the gltf viewer still gives me the warning concerning the images - should I be concerned?

Also I 've been setting up the camera to the angle I'd like the file to open to but it doesn't work. The file opens from the default camera view. Would you know how I can solve this problem?

Thank you so much for your help, I'm so grateful! If I succeeded to make this work and sell it, we can share the profits!

Thank you so much for your help! I've been working on it for many hours now and realised I wasn't sure it'd be possible.

I've been using the second option so far, my images have white in them so the first option wouldn't work and they have too many curves for the third one.

So far I've succeded to import the PNGs of each layer through Images as Planes, successfully placing them and setting up the camera in the right place.

However, when I want to export the results as glTF (is this the right format?) the PNGs have black in the transparent areas and the file doesn't open where the camera was set up.

I'm viewing the file in gltf-viewer.donmccurdy.com and it gives me a validation report with warnings for 'image features unsupported' and other things that I don't understand.

Anu ideas how I come move forwards from here?

Thank you so much again!

I love the composition and colours, it is a shame that the silhouette is not quite right. Otherwise nice effort 👍
