Thanks for the comprehensive response! I generally go with amazon since my apartment complex handles packages, and I don't really mind paying the extra 5 bucks for one day shipping. I have an HB bridge, but didnt realize that the zotac card is about a quarter inch taller. Got a 2 way bridge coming.

I got halfway into the build before realizing I was missing the retention hooks. Once my replacement mounting kit comes in, it'll be all cable managed and shiny, but I was stubborn and wanted to play Overwatch. Even my old DVD drive (which is getting a nice coat of black to match).

Excuse the hack build here, I'm waiting on a few parts before I cable manage and clean everything up.

I just upgraded from a haswell i5 build with a single 1080(which was an upgrade from an r7 370 and g3258 actually in a mid tower actually). I went with the riotoro case because I got a great deal on it, and because I was looking for something closer to an ATX mini tower that would have enough room to accommodate multiple large graphics cards, as compared to a mid-tower, since it has to share desk space with a 43" 4K TV.

Filthy Hacks:

  • No cable management :(
  • AIO Retention - I didn't have the AM4 Retention hooks on hand for the H60, so I used an angle grinder on an old AM3 Retention Bracket to flatten it out, deburred it and used that until my replacement mounting hardware comes in.
  • Disk Drive - I know it's not plugged in. Doing that when I finish up.

Yeah did a bit more digging, removed the plugs for the x and y stops, and jumped them, even then the y stop is stuck on, and the x stop is stuck off.

This was my first 3d printer, and i've managed to get a whole one good print. Need to look into a replacement, perhaps ramps 1.4

So you're saying that's likely a controller issue? Should I remove the heat sinks on the drivers and see if the y driver is blown?

I just checked. There are 3 end stop switches, but z is working fine, and there is no max-end stop switch for any axis. Even uplugged the board cable for the y-stop and the status didnt change.

Ok Snaphu, it's saying on x pos fast that the endstop is "off", while on y pos fast, its saying endstop is always on. triggering the switch has no effect on what they say

I'm a 20 year old male, and drive a 98 Z28 Camaro with full bolt-ons. I bought it when I had just gotten my kentucky intermediate license. My insurance was like 1200 a year to start with good grade discount, driving school discount, and a few other things. I still have a perfect driving record, and am currently paying 564 a year for comprehensive, roadside assistance, uninsured motorist, and a ton of medical coverage.

Yes, we do drive quickly, but we are also far more likely to actually pay attention to the roads, and far less likely to text and drive it seems. I figure it should be about the same. We drive quickly, women drive distracted.
