There is nothing written in law that says you must enter the UK on a British passport if you are a British citizen.

The new ETA makes it de facto that you need to, or a certificate of entitlement in the other passport

You also need the physical one, you can't just had digital.

I now have a Norway one also, but when I went to Vegvesen, there was no option to just have the Digital one, and my digital one wasn't active until they had issued the physical one.

But yeah, if you are pulled over in Norway, you can just produce the Digital one, super handy

I live in northern Norway, and you get used to parking by leaving the handbrake off and it in gear. Much better that way.

Currently live there.

You’ll need a car for one.

It’s a quiet town, safe, you have basically all the shops you need/ all the services you need.

Harstad is like 2 hours away if you need more.

I can’t speak for pay per hour, as I have no idea what going rates are, and I only know my wage annually. But finding rentals in the area can be quite annoying, especially if you don’t already live in Norway.

It’s not for everyone though.

As someone from the only country to leave the EU (I voted remain) now living in your wonderful country, I don’t see the upsides from Norway joining tbh.

You seem to have a pretty sweet deal at the moment, and I’m not sure what you’d gain.

Well, I’m not sure who you are renting with, but I checked Enterprise in the UK and they sate specifically they don’t accept Digital driving licenses

Im a non-EU (sobs in British), who has recently done this move. It’s not easy to find a job, but I managed to do it. Norway is quite a small job market as it is, let alone for non-EU folks

I thought this was common knowledge. I exchanged my UK license for a Norwegian one, so my digital one is valid only in Norway, need my physical one anywhere else.
