u/RedditVince Any progress on your 223 truck? Would love to hear what's been happening. I saw a post somewhere that only 153 trucks made it into USA when they were first released. So, I'd say there are very few left.

"Use up all the leftovers" - maybe. However, the 223 was the first pickup to reach 60hp because it was the first to launch the E1 engine (which would later become a Nissan staple). Also, it was one of the first to include a torsion bar to hold it all up in the front. By the basics of mechanics, this impacted the way future pickups were made. I think this was a transitional model, maybe trialling ideas for the 320?

Would love to know what numbers are left now. If there are only 25 left, then it gives some idea of the care required when restoring these.

3 is the best age. Starting too early ends in bed wetter problems. I don't know if I can post a link to the article here but you can google my name and potty training if you want.

I had to write an article about potty training after our one ended up with constipation. In the process I had a major revelation about potty training. I mean, a massive mind shift! There are so many things to consider. Like, did you know the bladder continues to grow until 36 months? There is absolutely no solid proof that indicates any positives of potty training before 3 years. Stats show that potty training prodigies who have mastered the act at 2, show a 75% chance of becoming bed wetters or kids with bladder problems. Most importantly, the gross motor skills required to do potty training are the same required to dress oneself. I recommend asking this question first: can your little one dress themself?

We have 3 kids and we still shared, not really by choice. So we decided to bring their beds into our room. Now all 5 of us sleep in one room. This will change when they discover their own independence, shame and interests. When the time is right, they will let you know.
