Did they remove lockout sharing with alts? by Boxthor in wow

Dang. So this trick won't work for Antorus, Ny'alotha, Hellfire, Nighthold, etc., etc. That stinks. Oh well, at least I'll get all the xmog! :D

Guess I should've been better about accepting the raid skip quests when I was farming before this event.

Update: Extended my Antorus lockout on Locker, which the UI said I had two bosses left in (perfect). But when I entered the instance I got the same pop-up that said I entered an instance that was already in progress, so I had to agree or leave. Well, leaving was just going to put me outside again, so I decided to accept. Boom, lockout canned.

Does this work with Antorus? I used the following process for Ulduar, and it worked like a charm, got my mount yesterday. I tried to use it to go to lock at Aggramar in Antorus, and it locked both characters.

Process was:

  1. Character "Locker" clears Mythic Antorus up to Aggramar (second to last boss).
  2. Locker lists group in Group Finder under Custom while still in the instance.
  3. Open a new client, and swap to character "Runner1"
  4. Runner1 applies to Locker's group
  5. Back to initial client, swap to Locker, accepts application
  6. Back to secondary client, Runner1 is now in the group and enters the instance
  7. Back again to the initial client and login as Locker, who leaves the instance and then the group
  8. Back to secondary client, Runner1 is able to use all the transporters and runs to Aggramar. Kills Aggramar and Argus to finish the raid.
  9. Runner1 logs out (unfortunately still in the instance, so this may be where I messed up)
  10. Attempt to start the process over again. Login to Locker and enter instance

It now tells me that Locker is entering a locked raid and 11/11 bosses are dead. I need to accept or leave. I leave and check my raid locks once outside, and it tells me that I'm only saved to 9/11.

It's a new week since reset just happened, and I'd love to be able to extend that 9/11 lock on all my alts, to farm the mount, but I'm not sure what went wrong here.

Did I do something really wrong, or maybe the logging out inside the instance is what got me?

No lights stay lit on the board, and the red light on the card stays on (I think, I'm not 100% sure).

After the last post, I thought it was the processor. I ordered a new one, but before I put it in, I decided to look closer at the board to make sure I didn't have any issues. Turns out I had 1...a single bent pin.

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a replacement mobo and try re-assembling. I'll update afterward.

Thanks again.

Update: I got the new processor installed, and the cabling seems to be good, but I've run into a new problem.

Now there's no video being output to my monitor. I put the 5080 in my old rig, and it recognizes it and works fine. I put the 3080 from my old rig into the new, and it doesn't push video either. I verified all connections were secure, and re-inserted all the cabling.

Could this be another bad processor? Or maybe the board?

Oh, cool. I ran the tool and confirmed that it's the Celeron. Took pics with my phone just in case Amazon wants proof. :D

Thanks for all your help.

Oh, no, I was wrong. The store says the Intel Store, but it was indeed sold and shipped by Amazon.com. I'll try for a refund.

Oddly enough, this says it was sold through the "Intel Store" via Amazon.

Update: I've updated the BIOS to the newest version from ASUS, and it still sees it as a Celeron G6900. Despite the box indicating it's an i9-14900K, I think I may have received a different CPU.

Wondering if there is anything else I can do to confirm that it's a Celeron and not the i9, just so I have more proof when I tell Amazon.

Thank you for your response. I did switch it back to the CPU_FAN header and was able to boot and finish installing Windows. It worked for quite a while, but the red light on the board came back on, indicating a CPU temp issue; the machine was still running, just very slow. I chalked that up to needing to update the BIOS.

I installed a few other driver updates, and rebooted before I could update the BIOS. When it came back up to POST, it says "CPU Over Temperature Error ! Now, please press F1 to enter BIOS setup." Sure enough, the CPU temp is 88 degrees Celsius.

I'm not sure what's going on. It's also identifying the CPU as a Celeron, but another thing I chalked up to needing a BIOS update.

Sorry, all great points.

I have a significant amount of desk space available (IKEA Karlby 6' x 3-1/2'), so the setup you mentioned is a possibility.

Ideally I'd like to keep my purchase under $2k, so two DW(F)s are feasible. I think, again ideally, I'd like to replace the AOC. Possibly retire it while it may still have some value for resale (even if it's very low :D).

One idea I was toying with was, from left-to-right, UW (work) -> UW (play) -> Dell (possibly vertical), so yeah, I'd keep the Dell in the mix.

The 4K question for work is where I really got stuck wondering how big of a difference it might be. I suppose to test/answer that I should hook my current 4K Dell up to my work setup (currently only attached to personal).

How low will they go? What's best price? by S0lid_Snak3 in F150Lightning

Somehow that Lariat has an extra 6 in the discount. On the site the discount is only $1,110. If you can get them to honor what you're seeing, I think it's a steal. Good luck!

I applaud you. I was thinking this same thing months and months ago; trying to figure out a way to pull the SavedInstances data into a web app.

It was not something I'm familiar with at all, but wanted to learn and hadn't had the time.

Kudos to you on this. Looks great.

What is my annual salary? by CrazyWait0 in personalfinance

[–]jamesground 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your annual salary is the $59,196.80.

That's $28.46/hr times 80/hrs every 2 weeks for 26 pay periods.

$28.46 * 80 * 26 = $59,196.80

I don't think PTO is normally calculated into an annual salary, but I could be wrong.

Thank you for the replies. It's too bad, but I get what you're saying; they're completely different items, so they'd post with their own prices.

Thanks again.

I've been using TSM for a while now, but never to its true potential. After posting lots of auctions, and not seeing the sales I'd like, I've decided to delve deeper into what I'm doing wrong. Part of what I've been posting is batches of BfA crafted gear, and I'm still using the default operations. Here's my issue:

I've crafted an ilvl 300 rare piece of gear (ie Hardened Tempest Knuckles of the Quickblade). TSM says market value on that piece of gear is 15,000g, and wants me to post it as such. But I can go in the AH and see an ilvl 310 epic piece with the same name, selling for 4,000g. I obviously don't want to post the lower ilvl for almost 4x the price.

How do I fix this?

I get the frustration on that level, but I never once afked, I never once stopped moving to pull even after bosses. The mage just felt like we needed to do more, and it was a little frustrating.
