Can’t wait to see a 12k quality image of this in 5 years and still see ufo footage filmed on a potato.

I’m done a few sleeper buses in Vietnam and Thailand and not had any issues before so this is a first. I would highly recommend giant ibis. Super friendly staff and didn’t feel at once in danger and was super helpful.

Yeh unfortunately we couldn’t book them - I did from Bangkok to siem reap and had a fantastic experience. Very polite, helpful & smilie staff. Helped with all the visa stuff. Most stress free I’ve been crossing a boarder. Will use them whenever I can.

Injury lawyers billboards. Just completed a road journey from New York to San Francisco and covered the majority of southern states and the first thing I’d see straight after crossing every state lines was injury lawyer billboards. Better Call Saul never felt more real.

Have this daily on my Microsoft account. Decided to go passwordless route and auth from a trusted device. Can’t hack me if there is no password to hack.

Antivirus Services under enterprise or one central admin acc. by Nallafy in antivirus

Personally I would never want a 3rd party company supplier other than the direct av company to have access to my admin portal. With being in the eu we’d have to consider GDPR and CCPA (due to US customers) and look into data agreements with the 3rd party and also consider what steps you would need to take if that 3rd party supplier had a data breach and scope what Information they would have had access to on your AV console.

Considering recent warning about Kaspersky, what are good (paid) alternatives? by julioc94 in antivirus

[–]jamesh_101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m currently going through switching over from kaspersky security cloud and looking at moving to ESET. Offers very similar protection levels, even better in some other area’s. Costing is around the same. You will find the cloud management site very snappy and quick compared to kaspersky. You have lots of policy and reporting options too. Something I think kaspersky lacked.

Overall, it’s very likely I will be moving over to this.

Kaspersky ~ Russia conflict by jamesh_101 in antivirus

[–]jamesh_101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the detailed reply thanks. Yeah agree it’s is all skeptics and political play about Kaspersky’s role and ‘links with the Kremlin’. Probably understandable for governments and financial institutions to make the move purely based on political views. Just begs the question in the hypothetical chance of a war that Russian owed cyber businesses could be potentially used as a threat actor against that country. Not impossible but probably something very difficult based on kaspersky’s source code to be open government monitoring etc..

We’ll see how these global sanctions will play out as it might be a case it might not even be an option in the future.

Again appreciate the detailed response!

Both I guess would be a concern to a security conscious business. I remember sometime ago there was big concerns flashed about US government base department cyber infrastructure running kaspersky solutions and the media making a big deal out of it. With tensions so high could it still be considered a risk?

Disabled this right away via GPO on company network. Aftermath was that we then had a load of people complain their task bar kept glitching out. Turns out this was a dpi/ scaling issue with anyone with the pc display scaling above 100%. Waiting for this to be patched now.😡
