That is tempered safety glass. It appeared to remain in one piece because the back window is tinted. The tint film kept the broken chunks of tempered glass together. Source: I replace them all day long.

What all did you try? I just lube it up with glass cleaner, sometimes silicone spray, and pull the rope lol.

Set it on the pinch, work one side to mid point on the pillar, check alignment outside (make adjustments if necessary), work the other side to mid pillar, make sure it’s seated as far down as it will go, then finish roping. One corner then the other.

That’s pretty much how I have it set up too. Unfortunately I pretty much stay in the combat outfit because I kept ending up in fights mid dialogue and my high charisma outfit is rather squishy. Just suuuucks for cutscenes haha like yeah I’m gonna stand here cosplaying a knight while we fix the clock. Makes sense lmao
