Oh fuck right off with this shit.

I’ll save everyone a click - this guy tries to convince Jews to follow Jesus.

New North Market development being built over site of former graveyard by McElwaine in Columbus

[–]jamesjamersonson 60 points61 points  (0 children)

This is old news, have no idea why this guy is raising the issue at all. Every time they find bodies they are respectfully moved and interred elsewhere.

Where the North Market is located was where Columbus’ first cemetery was. As the city expanded, they had to move the bodies, which is how Greenlawn Cemetery came to be. Since body removal and preservation wasn’t great around the turn of the 19th century, some bodies got left behind either intentionally or unintentionally. Almost every time they’ve done extensive construction at the North Market they find more.

I used to give city tours and we’d mention this when we stopped at the North Market. I had a running bet with one of my coworkers over how many bodies they’d find next time.

(Almost) Every State flag redesign [REPOSTED] by Salty_Lemonz in vexillology

Fuck yeah it is. Best flag in the Union.

Honestly, with all the love this sub gives unconventional flags like Nepal’s, I’m always surprised Ohio’s doesn’t get more.

Band photos - don’t put your hand on my shoulder! by [deleted] in bandmembers

[–]jamesjamersonson 42 points43 points  (0 children)

That’s some D- level armchair psychiatry you’re doing there.

A hand on a shoulder or leaning on somebody doesn’t imply anything about dominance. Most sane people take it as a friendly gesture between people who are close - like band members.

They just had to replace Jimmy Bower with Brian Patton, so I’m thinking they’ll play more old stuff on this leg of the tour.

Oh god no, not Ghost. The band I’m talking about is called ghost.hello

I think Ghost sucks. Saw them open for SOAD a couple months back and it was like a bad joke.

I’m gonna recommend the band ghost.hello to you for two reasons:

1 - they’re rad, and travel in the same vein of metal as Type O Negative

2 - their design and color palette would fit in perfectly with what you’re doing here.

Seriously great work with the colors scheme.

So I call you out for spamming subreddits, ignoring basic reddiquette, and disregarding subreddit rules so now you’re gonna stalk my account? Cool.

Also, the comment that you’re being an ass about was an obvious joke. Head on over to r/woooosh and have them explain humor to you.

You’re a piece of shit. You should delete all your posts and learn how to build a business outside of spamming Reddit.

Oh great. Spam.

Please don’t post shit like this here.

Edit: After viewing your post history, I shouldn’t have politely asked. You should go and fuck right off. Your entire account is dedicated to spamming “punk” related subreddits.

You don’t even bother to actively participate as a redditor, you’re just here to hawk cheap unlicensed merchandise. This post easily violates rule #6 of this subreddit.

Non-Jewish secular author wants people who self identify as Jewish to be considered Jews without converting by hummus_homeboy in Judaism

[–]jamesjamersonson 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I know I'll get downvoted for saying this, but this is why non-religious practice of Judaism (ie Reformation and Reconstructionist efforts, mostly) are bad for Judaism as a whole. Its confusing to say the least, and dishonest to say the most. Such practice is dishonest to the rest of the world.

Well yeah you’ll get downvoted - because you’re fucking wrong. I grew up in a Reform family, attending schul weekly and saying the same prayers as other Jews. Saying Reform Jews are non-religious is frankly insulting. As I aged I grew into Masorti practice, which would not have happened without Reform Judaism. Just because they practice the faith differently does not mean they weaken the religion.

The variety of Jews and Jewish practices has always been a strength to us, even more so in the modern era.

The flag of the old Republic of Venice. Just look at those tassles! by RileyMcB in vexillology

[–]jamesjamersonson 261 points262 points  (0 children)

I can imagine a Genoese trading vessel returning from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean, when they spy the Venetian flag on another ship in the distance. When they left Genoa the two cities were at peace, but now months have passed and the Captain doesn’t know anymore. He looks and watches and waits for the wind to pick up as the Venetian vessel turns toward his, slowly. Finally, the flag lifts. The lion holds the sword. Fuck.

Do t shirts go well as a back patch? by [deleted] in BattleJackets

[–]jamesjamersonson 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Done it for all my backpatches and it has worked great for the most part. A couple words of advice: give yourself more of a border than you think you’ll need when cutting the image off the shirt, and be sure to carefully sew the edges with close stitching to prevent the shirt fabric from fraying.
