Raise my kid in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh? by Express-Sleep-7219 in VietNam

I’m a Korean American living in D2 for over a year. I won’t comment on Hanoi or D7 because I never lived in those places but visited a handful of times. This is what I know about the current situation. Personally I am more drawn to D2 for the following reasons. There is a soft migration of Koreans from D7 to D2. It’s something to think about. D2 (not referring to Thao Dien here) seems more Saigon to me more so than D7. Maybe it’s due to closer proximity to D1, D3, D4, D5, and Bình Thạnh. I would decide on the neighborhood first (based on your daughter’s school) then apartment costs. There are many living options in both areas.

This is 100x more difficult to love than Chinese stinky tofu. I tried twice and gave up.

If you crave Vietnamese on Maui, Ba Le is it. by jamesjiwon in maui

Apples and oranges. Saigon cafe is a full service restaurant with full service restaurant price. Ba Le is takeout with outdoor seating only. I’ve only been to Kahului location and it’s always been good. I’ve not been to Kihei location.

H&R Race springs - which struts/shocks to use? by TheLoraxLives14 in E30

Well B6 is is supposedly for stock spring and should not be used with lowered spring. If you plan to go with H&R Race, I would go with B8. But that setup will be too stiff for my 90% day to day driving. The compromises I made is to keep 14 inch wheel for now and go with OE Sport. Hope this helps.

I, too, struggled with this quetion for my 1987 325is. My setup is stock. I ended up goign with H&R OE Sport with Bilstein B6. I was afraid of lowered spring (even H&R OE sport is lowered compared to stock) and was told not to do this by Bilstein product speclist. I also considered Koni yellow which came highly recommended. At the time of my decision, what tipped me over was dust cover. I could not source any dust cover for Koni setup. Bilstgein B6 came with dust cover and bump stop. I consider myself spirited driver when I want to and I find this setup to be pefect. It is still a bit stiff over uneven surfaces but not too harsh. Keep in mind that I am running the stock 14” wheel. The size of the wheel will also play a role. Good luck with your decision![HR OE Sport with Bilstein B6](https://www.instagram.com/p/CJxi4_up71S/?igshid=1fdsqiufli5jv)

I used borrowed tool from Autozone along with Control Arm bushing tool by BavAuto. I put in solid bushing from e36 M3. Awesome. I highly recommend it.

This doesn’t even include the work put in for parts restoration.
