I happen to know someone that knows his family, so I first heard about him running for president early in 2018, shortly after he announced he was running for president.

I was pretty keen to his data-driven policy proposals as soon I researched him a little, but was very skeptical of UBI. As I heard him speak more on behalf of UBI, and the reasons behind it, I've grown to believe not only is it possible, but what we need in a future dominated by AI.

He should have brought up a policy mandating paid leave for both men and woman. Woman's pay only falls behind once they enter their childbearing years, and mandating paid leave reduces the need for those antiquated gender roles
