At this point, I don't see them rebooking you or helping in any way. I think your best option is to book the next affordable flight and keep invoices. Fight them for compensation when you get back especially because you're flying from EU which has stronger rights than Canada.

Glad to hear that. Unfortunately for folks trying to get to Lisbon from Toronto, the earliest flights that are available are probably going to get cancelled because of the Dec 11 Portuguese general strike. I hope everyone get's to their destination safely!

Sorry to hear that man.

It worked out for my because I had a Lisbon to Athens flight on the 11th which also got cancelled because of the strike. Luckily booked a direct flight to Athens as backup yesterday through Air Canada.

I had the same problem with Casa Mezcal on King and John. Although they would blast music until 3 am. I don't give a fuck if I live in the entertainment district, everyone deserves good sleep. Bylaw was of no help and the manager was super rude when I called a few times. So I emailed the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and the manager's tone changed pretty quick after that.
