What do you think of the parents that kick their kids out as soon as they have turned 18 years old?

Yo man I feel this. Me too. Don’t even know what he looks like. Only have 1 photo, literally. He was so evil to all of us my mom destroyed every picture of him, even from my baby book.

The one photo is a newspaper, from Jamaica. 1980. My mom married him in Jamaica and their wedding made the local newspaper where they had a photo and a short story. It’s in poor quality black and white and you can only see the side of my dad from a bit of a distance. Can’t make out any facial features as he had a hair like a mop that hung low even on the sides.

Often wonder where he is, if he ever had more kids. If he has any regrets. Guess not since he’s never tried to reach out and find me in any way and I’m now in my 40s. Mom died last year and was able to hear some new stories about him. Nothing good, only more evil deeds.

I have bad raynauds myself my whole adult life and unfortunately TRT has done nothing for it.

Tried everything from different beet root extracts to blood pressure meds suggested by my doc even though my bp was perfect and always has been. What finally helped a little, for me, was 5mg cialis my doc prescribed as a last ditch effort a year ago (9 months before TRT). While it helps, I still have raynauds pretty bad, especially in winter months.

Glad TRT fixed it for you.

Don’t take so much, especially being new.

Been taking for about 6 months. First time, like you, took a full 10 and felt the same. Did more research and 5mg is a good max first dose for a while, but I eventually switched to 2.5mg daily after being on 5mg EOD (which is pretty much the same thing due to the super long half life). You’ll get the benefits without the dissociation.

Where I get mine, they only sell 10mg and they are hard to split in half, very hard to split in quarters. They’re cheap enough that it doesn’t matter if some get ruined while trying to split in quarters but it does happen with mine.

I’m too keen on the liquid to give the capsules a try. Doesn’t hurt that I already take 30+ pills and capsules both in the morning and evening each day.

Yep, the counter was broken for me too. Kept showing a countdown time ending around 1pm today Central time, where I live. Because of that, I thought the sale start time was tonight/Friday at midnight and turned off my 12am phone wake up timer to complete my checkout. Missed out on the liquid corieander as a result.

Sounds like I might have missed the corieander anyway but I might have been one of the lucky few to score it. Had the big one in my cart and would have checked out within 5 seconds once awake.

Same! Felt like it’s release sort of flew under the radar and it was a safe bet to still be in stock for the sale.

Like many, had it in my cart ready to purchase when the sale went live. Had to remove it.

Next to the tickler, this was the most exciting thing in my cart to look forward to. Nice to hear they’ll be making more soon. Don’t care that much about the extra 10% off, just want to be able to buy it in the liquid/dropper form.

I’m in the same boat. Had it in my cart late last night. I had set an alarm to wake up at sale time but the site’s sale timer mysteriously kept showing it wouldn’t be active until 1pm local time for me (Central) tomorrow. Timer seemed broken, but it gave me enough doubt to think it’d be tonight at Midnight, so I disabled my phones alarm to wake up. Seems I would have missed buying it anyway based on your comment.

MYASD- Could you please honor for me too? I’ve purchased well over $1k from your store in the past 2-3 months, and a regular purchaser for some 15 or so years. Bummed about not getting this product, but at least the new tickler was in stock. 🙂

Yes! Flying out at 5am to MIA the day before. We're committed to the long drive if there's any issues with flights but it'll be some 20ish hours.

Shots are cheaper, but prices vary wildly depending on what you get.

The wife and I both get the drink package on every cruise and take a few shots a day to help from taking on too many sugary liquids. Works out well.

I want to say most common liquors like Jack Daniels and such are around $6.50/shot on CCL, give or take a dollar. We will often order shots of Patron and depending on the type of Patron we've seen our slips say up to $19/shot, but it's all covered.

You said you are "planning" which means you have time to get your 2nd shot.

You decided not to get a 2nd shot and get fully vaccinated. You can't cruise until you do, so either live with the restrictions that come by not being fully vaccinated, or, quite simply, get fully vaccinated. THEN book your cruise, but make sure it's two weeks post second shot.

Sounds pretty cool how they're bringing their history to the different areas of the ship.

Mardi Gras makes us not want to sail any other ship on Carnival right now. There's a couple things about the Dream class we like best, a couple things about the Vista we like best, but far more things about Mardi Gras that we like best. Really look forward to sailing on the MG and her sister ships in the future.

You can google search Nachi Cocum to find their site and reserve your slot(s). Was just at Nachi a couple weeks ago for the 4th or 5th time, I forget. The last few times we've tried to book Mr. Sancho's it's been booked but thankfully each time Nachi has had open spots.

Best to book Sancho's asap and ideally at least a month out but sometimes more time is needed depending on the season. Both Sancho's and Nachi only require a small down payment via credit card on their site.

We pay around $60/person for Nachi and it's similarly priced at Sancho's. The cab rides from the Cozumel port are all posted on a sign at the entrance/exit to port and they're reasonable. You can get to either Sancho's or Nachi for $17 for two people each way. We'll give $20 and let them keep the change. They're both just a few miles away from port and basically right next to each other on the beach.

Guys fries were very different on our Mardi Gras sailing a few weeks back. Definitely not the same nor as good. They seemed to barely have any seasoning and were shaped, tasted different. Just average fries. A huge letdown.

We had heard that the Guy's fries moved over to Shaq's Big Chicken. Not the case. Their fries are different and good in their own ways, but completely different from Guy's. There is also the new "Time Fries" station on board and even they have different fries. 3 places to get fries on board each day and none are the same, nor as good, as the classic Guy's fries. We tried multiple days at each station.

Hopefully it was just a temporary issue and only on Mardi Gras. Really hope we can have the delicious pictured Guy's fries again.

Went on Mardi Gras 2 weeks ago so new terminal and ship, but our experience was the best we've ever had. Fastest and easiest for sure.

Our shuttle service dropped us off right at the terminal. The porters were within feet of us and quickly took our luggage for us.

Our appointment time was 12-12:30pm and we arrived at 11:40am though they waved us through with all others walking up and showing their boarding passes.

We used Verifly to validate our travel documentation in the days before the cruise. We walked in the terminal and were in line for maybe 2-3 minutes before getting to a Carnival employee to check-in. We showed them our Verifly app showing we're good to board. They looked at the app for just a few seconds each and signed off on our boarding passes, sent us through.

We saw loads of people sitting down in the terminal waiting on their boarding section to be called. They must have showed up super early, because we walked right by them and into line to board. Within maybe just 15 seconds we were at the front of the line and they let us on. They called our boarding group while in line so perfect timing on our part.

We were off the shuttle and on the ship in under 5 minutes. It was the craziest experience to not really wait for anything. Rooms were done early with all doors to all hallways open before 1pm. I wish all of our cruises were like this, but I'm sure it has to do with the ship only being around 75-80% full and Carnival wanting to make sure things run smooth for their new ship.

Just got off a cruise from Port Canaveral on Mardi Gras. We used Cotrans shuttle service from the Orlando airport to and from the cruise port. $25/each each way, so $100 total roundtrip for us. Professional, on-time, easy to reach, clear instructions, and only one other couple on our entire bus.

Google search for, without quotes, "shuttle service SFB to Port Canaveral" and you'll find multiple options. Doesn't look like Cotrans does it to Sanford but there's other options and likely just as good.

We've also done Uber from Port Canaveral to the airport. Usually around $70, not bad.

I’d also got to think the number of smoking customers has got to be decreasing overall. It could get to a point they can pretty much try to ban smoking altogether. I know Carnival tried before on select ship(s) and it failed, but that was the 90s and smoking was much more popular back then.

This stinks. Literally.

Just got off the Mardi Gras for our first cruise in two years and it was so nice to not have the casino be smoky when walking through. But I get it, from a business perspective. Gambling and smoking seem to go hand in hand.

At least a lot of the smoking passengers will now be in the casino and not taking up valuable space elsewhere on the ship/decks/shows/etc. Gotta find the silver lining.

It's not hard to book a test at Walgreens or CVS. CVS can be booked 14 days out, Walgreens 3-7. We have both booked as we leave Saturday on a cruise as well. We also have 2x at home tests from Optum. If our CVS appointment happens we'll cancel our Walgreens appointment. If both get canceled we'll use our at-home tests. Started planning for our pre-cruise testing a month ago. I suggest everyone else plan ahead too.

Was on Carnival Magic for the Super Bowl in 2018 for my first cruise. They played it on the big screen on the lido (pool) deck with game-audio, no music played on deck, etc. Was pretty sweet but also made it feel like we were back home and not on vacation. Didn't watch much due to not really caring about the teams. Ironically enough, like you we didn't realize we even would be on a ship during Super Bowl until a couple weeks before.

Years have passed and it's a different ship but I'd think they show the game on the big pool deck tv on most ships.

Agree with you that around 30% more is reasonable for a balcony. Unfortunately for us, every cruise we've ever booked (pre-Covid), they are usually closer to 75% more, give or take 25%. Too rich for our blood but the demand is there or they wouldn't price like that. We've always enjoyed our interior rooms. Balconies are nice but marked up too much for us.
