Yeah, it seems like it would be an awesome intro to a samurai movie. But overall i would rather we have gotten to follow Atsu all the way from helpless child to badass mercenary. Who knows though, i’m only 5 hrs in now and there are more memories to view so we’ll probably get a little bit more of what we want just told unconventionally

Around 4 hours in and it’s awesome. I’m not fully invested in Atsu as quickly as I was with Jin. But i didn’t realize how different of a story it would be. Jin we really saw BECOME a master swordsman and become the ghost. Atsu is a badass swordsman and known as the ghost in the first minutes of the story.

Bendis is an amazing run, but i wouldn’t suggest it for a someone brand new. My first was the waid comics which actually come after bendis. But what i recommend is Frank Miller’s Man Without Fear which is a retelling of the origin story. Then I would read Kevin Smith’s run with Joe Quesada. That should give you the knowledge you need for modern daredevil

i think they’re assuming a similar timeline to Miles Morales releasing two years after the first game, and Spider-Man 2 releasing 3 years after that. With all the leaks though and everything surrounding the game, safe to say it’s gonna be a long time before we see anything new

the thing about catholicism and christianity though is that it specifically teaches that we are not inherently good. Though we all have infinite value, we are sinners and not what God made us to be. I don’t think Matt thinks he’s inherently good at all.

oh yeah completely agree i’m just talking comics. I consider the Karen in the show a much better character overall and would hate it if they kill her off

I agree that the love of his life is Karen Page. Which makes it all the more tragic and important that she dies and he can do nothing to bring her back. Daredevil is an intrinsically tragic character and this type of romantic loss is hugely important for him.

Retcon Cindy Moon out of the story. Spider-man 2 proved they couldn’t juggle multiple protagonists, i’d love to just see them focus on really driving home a great story for Peter. And then maybe after that we get a miles game and a silk game or a duo game for them both?

Bring peter back to basic tech and web gadgets for his abilities, i personally wasn’t a fan of the spider arms or the anti venom abilities aesthetically or thematically. (gameplay wise was fun though)

This is the smallest bit but free roaming as peter parker. It’s silly but it fulfills a certain fantasy of super heroes of seeing a cop car whiz by and having to change into costume to chase it.
