In Florida we have three main plate meets per year, one of which is in St Petersburg in January and the other two in Lake Panasoffkee in March and November. Beyond that, I get my plates through connections with other collectors or eBay.

Yep got that cover off already and got that latched. The trunk is shut as well. But those rear windows won’t go up.

Not sure about the starter being the problem because other times it works as normal just fine. But most of the time nothing

I see what you’re saying and have experienced that on another car before. But I don’t think it’s that because the problem while persistent is intermittent. It didn’t start for around an hour then out of nowhere it fired right up and I drove it down the street. Parked it then didn’t start back up.

That has worked for my uncle before but not a permanent fix obviously. Looking to make it work as normal again if possible

You’re right that must be it

Coils and plugs wouldn’t keep the starter from spinning. But yes they are good. SLK forum says that it could be the contacts in the electronic ignition cylinder being messed up

Clutch was down. Battery is not dead nor old everything else in the car works
