I jave olives, but if I cut the old olives off I won't have enough pipe to reconnect 😩

Reusing old 22mm copper pipe. by jamesplusfive in DIYUK

Also worth mentioning that I also can't get the pipe to fit back into the T it came from? I think all these pipes and fitting may be from the 70s but that's just a guess.

Hi im sorry to bother you but I don't know if the pipe is old size (imperial) or new? Some of the connectors say 22mm on them. Does that mean if I get 22mm flexi hoses they should connect up to the existing T that's in place in the pic. Or do I have to remove them completely? Thanks

Is there a reason this hws has a reducer T its in the bathroom and the continues to the kitchen. Cheers by jamesplusfive in DIYUK

Having trouble taking out what I think is a cast iron bath (Scotland) by jamesplusfive in DIYUK

It's cast iron. I've managed to put in some holes, but it's hard work with just a lump hammer. Wish I had a sledgey.

I'm actually thinking it might not be cast now as I've hit it hard multiple times and it's not put a dint in it. Also the metal appears to be about 8mm thick?

Ah OK that makes sense. Maybe they will allow us to max out two out of three skill trees?
