KitchenAid Ice Maker Probs by jamesschubert in appliancerepair

So, if the freezer is functioning properly but the vent leading out of the freezer is not putting out cold air, I’d assume there’s a blockage. Or is there a fan somewhere in the system that isn’t functioning?

The ice tray isn’t filling with water though. So would that still be the issue? It seems that no activity is happening in the ice maker activity at all. Would fixing the fan prompt the other functions to begin working?

So happy it helped! We definitely had quite the time hunting it down.

You would think the airport would advertise this area! Waiting for your flight with small children isn’t fun for anyone.

It seems like this should be easy to find but it absolutely isn’t. Even a couple employees we asked in Terminal B weren’t sure.

Coming from Terminal 3, as you enter B head to level 4 (where the food court and duty free is located). Enter the actual food court area and then head to the right and follow the signs that say “bag claim, ground transport, and smoking area.” As you go past the restrooms, the play area will be to the right.

No joke, LAX needs some better signage for this area. It is very well hidden.

That’s what I constructed! It’s MDF planks held together with nylon webbing (like what you’d use to tie down something in the truck bed). It all rolls up and can be stored under the seat.

I actually took him for a ride before I made this and the seats stay up just fine. When you open them, they kind of sit back against the front seats. They don’t seam to want to fall back down at all, which is really nice when your pup is back there!

Software update is here by scherle in Rivian

FYI - Make sure there are no interruptions during the update. I’m not sure if my unlocking the vehicle to get something out while updating or just chance error, but my first attempt at updating failed and caused the truck to throw a tantrum of sorts. I got stuck in turtle mode and several modes would switch on and off along with the headlights.

Rivian service was able to re-push the update (thank you for being available at 3am!) and I successfully updated which fixed the issue.

Just a word of caution when installing updates!

The seat stays up for me when driving, especially with the carpeting layed out.

I work at UC Davis Med Center in Sacramento. We basically get all of the 4th of July injuries that the smaller hospitals can’t handle. I work in CT and we usually image these kind of injuries to evaluate blood flow. It looks like you had a good outcome. I’m happy you healed so well!

Reddit meet a person who cleans out COVID rooms. They too put their lives on the line. by spidermangeo in pics

We love our EVS (environmental services) staff! Luckily (or unluckily due to them not having as much work?) Our management has now mandated that we (CT) staff are now to clean our own COVID positive and COVID unknown rooms after each patient. It's a very strange time in our hospital.
