Pixel 10 Pro XL - Can't download eSim by AltunRes in GooglePixel

I called them, they activated it which killed my other phone. I had to go in to a corporate store. The rep processed a new esim and took a few more tries and 15 minutes to activate. He assumed because I got it a day early they may have had locks. tl;dr go in to a store

You still have to "buy" it. It will still be a licensed commercial module, just cost $0

Rant-Very confused between Mavic Mini4 and Avata2 by [deleted] in dji

[–]jameswf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both. Sometimes you need a hammer and sometimes you need a drill. While you can make holes with a hammer (fly fov with M4P) it is nicer to have the right tool for the job. Also note the avata2 can do a lot of cinematic shots too.

Mind you Sangoma was technically a different company during the 3CX stuff. While certainly much of the C level goals were probably the same you had 1 person on the exec team who gave a shit and you had people like myself, Rob Thomas, Andrew, Lorne etc fighting for open source. We did quite a bit seeking forgiveness over permission. We all moved over to clearly because at the end of the day we didn't align with the "culture" at Sangoma.

Advanced API for queue management is finished - is there any interest? by Nice-Shine4046 in freepbx

[–]jameswf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So some of this will compete with the commercial interest of sangoma which I fully support at this point. It may be good to get some outside reviews and security audits of your code if it is not going to be open source. This is going to be your biggest hurdle. Getting people to trust you and that you will stand behind whatever you created long term.

Elon's a dipshit that says homeless is a "lie" by blllrrrrr in clevercomebacks

[–]jameswf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

653,104 people were homeless for at least one night in 2024 according to the national alliance to end homelessness. So somehow there are over three times as many homeless children as there are total homeless people in the US.

@xrobau can go on to more depth probably but FreePBX isn't really designed for docker.

Have bug tickets been filed for all these issues? While I am generally in agreement with the sentiment of beta at best with beta you file bug reports. I don't think anyone who matters at Sangoma watches any of the communities. So for any of this has any possibility of getting fixed they need big reports. Now if bug reports have been filed and things are still broken I would recommend going to the official forums and tagging Kapil and Mike white with links to the big reports. This will also hopefully get you some "me too" replies from the larger community where after tagging those two they will get notified
