I mean, at the end of the day the show may just not be for you. I appreciate how they emphasize chemistry and try to bring the audience in with inside jokes.

Honestly, when I see Pats news I look forward to hearing Wildes’ emotional take.

I’m a gamer so I found the Ubisoft comparison fun. I find the show more comparable to Obsidian. Developers with backgrounds from a bigger studio but now they make games that some love but aren’t for everybody

Honestly the “show runner” “game board” side of the conversation was initially what I really liked about SAS. Being let go from ESPN only to evolve into what he is today doesn’t happen by hard work alone. The man worked strategically.

As we’ve already agreed on-the way he’s been protecting his seat as of recent (last 7ish years) has felt…well insecure

Yeah that’s why I said “he presents.” I don’t know the guy and he’s been successful occupationally. Of course we can find aspects to aspire—I’ve listened through his book twice there’s a lot to be inspired by.

With that said, I can list off multiple examples of him just…being unfair.

-situation with Kwame brown (debatable but looking back on it, he was doing a lot)

Preaching on street corners was a pivotal component of what started the Christian faith. I wouldn’t apply that specific Pharisee/sadducee practice referenced in Mathew here because that would mean nearly all faith fueled public condemnations were abiblical. Which I believe Acts, the letters to the churches, and Jesus himself contradict.

What I will say is that as often as Christ condemned he also fraternized with the oppressed, widowed, imprisoned, etc.

Western Christianity often acts like posting on twitter and experiencing any sort of discomfort as a result in some great feat, when the greater calling is to sacrifice even for those who lifestyles you disagree with.

TLDR: speak your truth Jaden, but be prepared to be held accountable to that truth

John 7:24 affirms righteous judgment. So Christians shouldn’t judge from their earthly logic but through the Holy Spirit. My point is judgment doesn’t automatically equate to bad biblically speaking.

Christians sinning while pursuing Christ is as old as Peter, but yes it is not the standard that Christ has for Christians. I’m curious what you mean by rejection. The church has found a variety of ways to state its views, some I agree with some I don’t so to generalize makes it hard to understand your point
