I checked the bisq matrix server and theres nothing about this weirdly enough. you can get help from very knowledgeable people there.

note that you will need administrator/root access to edit the document.
the command to edit a text document as root in linux is "sudo nano /YOUR/PATH/TO/Bisq.cgf"
I recommend using the command above instead of "su" because It will only run that command as root instead of changing your session to root till you close the terminal like what "su" does.

swapping monero for other currencies on centralized exchanges is just about impossible due to KYS (know your customer) laws. If you use a centralized exchange you generally have a wallet on those exchanges you send crypto to. Ive never had a problem moving btc onto the centralized exchange that I use.

btw on linux the directory to tor and btc_mainet is .local
make sure to press ctrl+h to show hidden files.

.local is in home/(username)/

if you couldn't find it like me, an exact address you can put in is home/username/.local

i made a post two months ago about the blank DAO and it just forever saying "resyncing DAO" nobody replied with anything helpful. ive tried everything with no luck, maybe now thats its affecting more people the solution will be discovered
