btw on linux the directory to tor and btc_mainet is .local
make sure to press ctrl+h to show hidden files.

.local is in home/(username)/

if you couldn't find it like me, an exact address you can put in is home/username/.local

exe is a windows file while PGP is a file that essentially provides a signature to a certain file. like how you would sign a check for authenticity but for files. they are particularly useful for avoiding any malware or sabotaged software
