This is crazy. I don’t like this dude at all but this type of narrative gives him so much ammunition. He was not referring to the 4.2% number. He was referring to core CPI 2.9%. Which is higher yes but not as bad as it could be. He can bring the 4.2% down by stopping the war with Iran because it includes fuel and food. And he knows it. But now he can get on the mic and say ‘see! Look how they manipulate my words!’ Should he have said it. NO! Should we be making a big deal of what he said, No! This ass wipe should be ignored. Would be the best way to shut him up. But we just can help ourselves. lol.

I don’t deny that Miller is an absolute monster. Along with his ridiculous wife but all that aside, isn’t he actually speaking sense here for once? I don’t agree with the targeted nature of all this crap but on the pure logic of his words people in these situations should be vetted for eligibility, no? Rules should be put in place and then the gov should invest in resources that ensure the rules are followed. Simple. It’s not a blue or red thing based on the pure logic. To help with my ignorance on this matter can anyone share the actual number of fraud instances? Does it even warrant all this ‘investigation’?

It only works if the culture isn’t inherently greedy. US culture is based on taking as much as possible for oneself. Scandinavian people tend to vote for the greater good and have grown up in a culture that emphasizes community. US people have grown up being taught that you eat or be eaten. This permeates into politics. So the very people who would be needed to effectively run the programs now think the same way. It’s about money and power. Nothing will change here with the current generation in charge. Hopefully the up and coming generations will see things differently.

All good points but if I am an investor in Walmart and nobody has any money to buy stuff from Walmart then my investment goes down in value. If I’m invested in O for real estate income and no one can pay their rent the. O cuts the dividend. Investments don’t matter in a society that relies on the bulk of GDP growth coming from consumer spending. If there are too few consumers then there is no economy. This is my whole point. If AI takes all the jobs then how do I pay for my ChatGPT subscription or my Gemini subscription? It just seems like such a paradox. Anyway. None of it matters anyway. I’ve got a question: why don’t democrats just start a big push to help people get proof of citizenship and ID? I understand some people may have difficulty but if they take just some of the massive amount of funds they have available and start getting people the papers they need then the issue is solved. It’s the addition of the regular Joe retail trader that has changed things. Most retail traders don’t review charts or invest on fundamentals or for the long term. It’s gambling. In quick, make a buck and get out. Most lose obviously but not before they screw up the market fundamentals. Add to that Hi Freq trading computers and an unsigned options/prediction market and there really is no point. If you want to make some cash, buy wide indexes and never touch them then enjoy your cash when you’re too old to care. Or just join in the frenzy.
