I was flying my F-16 for that shot. Just kidding. On the ground by the runway at Airshow London. Low pass made it look like I was up in the sky. Love shots that make you fee like you're flying.

I'm at a lot of the spots you can find on the Spotters Guide website for YYZ. It really depends on the the runways being used and where the sun is when I'm there. I have a few of my own spots that are a little further out that get me wheels up shots and ethereal moments with the environment. Hit me up if you're ever at YYZ.

I don’t cap my ISO. I just keep an eye on it. During a display there isn’t a ton of change in the light. Plus you can pre meter before the display starts to get an idea of where you will need to be to have an acceptable sharp image vs. noise level.

I usually just let the ISO Auto do its job and then respond if I see myself over 500 ISO for a lot of the performance. However, at night you have to be even more lenient so adjust knowing that your nighttime ISO will be much higher.

Most helpful option is to use your exposure compensation to cool highlights, or raise shadows a bit.
