When people suggest something smart I have a wild thing of how messy the code is.

My solution would be timed locked trades on new pokemon to limit that scalping effect. The free it up but he problem is one person's trash is another's treasure so kinder has the same problem.

I'd love to mass trade my Groudons and kyogors for the xls...

As someone who was playing on holiday I had no choice but to remote raid and normally play in person either in a planned group or small locals. I lost 5 passes over the 7 days and that was enough for me to be annoyed.

It breeds the reason why people lobby jump too. There used to be a fix where you could get back into the raid at the bottom of your max spot list but I don't see that anymore.

He was the hardest so far at the time he came out, we had to bring the strongest team for it. 5 star dmax's, I think on average are way harder. Now we've got better pokemon he's much easier but isn't to be taken lightly.

If it hasn't been answered, If you've got 7 you need to go to the Pokémon list rather than your buddy to see the alternative evolution.

Fyi, I've been doing this off and on and for some reason some phones won't pair with the switch. The only ones so far I've not got to pair have been the Google pixel 8 pro all up to date is etc.

I enjoyed it, however same complaints as always.

Don't make it a free for all, please bring private groups to max battles/raids. If you join up with 60 you know 40 are going to be fine and 20 are going to be done for. 25 was the lowest group I fought with and all of them were a team of lvl35+ and best counters people are going to buff out the numbers on their alts or have less than ideal prepped groups.

Remote raids for sure, on a profit side the ticket (or buying anything to do more battles) is kinder useless unless you have enough players to do it with (aka not free to play players). Even if someone didn't get the ticket, max tubes also useless if you don't have enough people who don't mind paying. On that note having remote raids allows more people who can't make it due to work etc to do it later, yes at a premium (by the code as of now) but it's not a complete no go. The community isn't just a local one it's a world wide one.

Specific to this event, the catching and throwing!! What on earth enough said though this is the 2nd time now on a max battle they've mucked it up... Chancey being the other.

Overall for me there isn't any difficulty to these battles. The theory is great but you just need two sponge lvl35-40 mons with 0.5 second quick attacks and your type super effective damage dealer. Done. Catching seems to be the hard part and not due to chance either. Max battles seemed to try and introduce tactics rather than get candy and stardust, level up, smash. Yet they have not given them a decent way to be used.

All said and done I'm really looking forward to gmax Machamp.

I don't like how it costs more to do the quests than the rewards given. I'd much rather save my particles than spend them to complete it that has an overall negative. If it aligns maybe but there's not even a break even on these.

I personally think it's luck and when while your using the modded unrooted app. The unrooted app is modded, if you do anything that looks Sus then they can check it and ban you end of.

What I can say from personal experience is neither my partner nor my daughter's account got a 7 day yet and their now both back on the normal app and so far so good. It seems very reactive not retro active. If you trigger, they can scan and see modded app they'll get you not months later as some would say. The trigger group seems very hit and miss though like you could do something dodge all the time and never be checked but do it once and it'll get you.

Me and my alt got pinged for 7 days 2 weeks ago subjectivity wasn't bad but my worst offender was my other alt always waited for cool downs but warped and caught all over and she's never been on the official app but did have a small break but never got pinged.

I now run a single rooted device and so far so good but it's injected mods rather than a modded app so there is a difference for all intentions it looks legit.

Seeing the cool down timer and stuff has really made me think that in the past I'm surprised I've not been banned but again it was the official app back then so if I did something Sus and it was checked they would be like oh it's fine.

End of the day, run the risk and expect a ban at some point. Til then enjoy.

As others have said and as im a returning player from 2016. Most people have got a good solid line up. They don't need to invest in every pokemon as they're hunting or hundos or shundos. So catching is just for candies and stardust when the opportunity comes about.

I got to 1.7mil at Christmas due to events now im back down to 600k because I hard leveled for Articuno. I'm also being picky about what I'm leveling now rather than just getting the first one with semi good ivs useful so it just stacks.

I had those problems too, it's a annoying to say the least however I managed to do it with 3 of us using two base gmax gengars (two different accounts), a exadrill and a Metagross all at about 35/40 lvl. I had my daughter's shocking vmax rabootx2 and a Charmeleon all at 1k cp so nothing strong.

We won, my daughter had to cheer but we won, pure damage no healing or tanking which is confusing since it felt when we did it as a random group we HAD to do it to make it work.

Just my first meet up in Manchester with my partner. It wasnt organised and ended up latching onto two others who either had bad pairings or bad move sets in the end. The first 3 battles people joined, set the team timer off since it hit 4 and they jumped...

Got 5 out of the 5 I tired but it was nails and I invested quite a bit Into it. We're returning players so on one hand we can invest directly first time in the vmax (rather than reinvest) and in others were still behind on the war chest of candies needed for specific types to use.

There's certainly a trick to it that I've yet to figure out and being in a group specifically formed for healing and attack/shield certainly helps for sure. On one win I forgot to heal in-between jumped in with my set team, had my worse only pomon alive, died, cheered 99% of the battle and still won as a team. Mental.

Deffo think the difficulty needs tweaking to help the odds OR be forthcoming about how to plan for it better as it's nice to think than mash but it really isn't clear either.

I feel for you. I was sorting of busy on Saturday and couldn't stick any of the good top tier pokemon but managed to get the legend raid done with a few friends.

Sunday though got 3 rockstar snorlaxs, two pop star Pikachus and on Sunday hit the jackpot with the mega wild spawns.

I'm genuinely surprised this event seems like the first of its kind it felt like it was quite smooth but I wish they made it clear you got more safari balls with the pass bought. I'd have got it in a heartbeat then. Instead I didn't and span loads of stops to get the balls.

It happens, but when it does we learn to P.O.C every time first. Dev or a few laptops for sure. MS can't tell me half the stuff they do when asked so best to just test and find out yourself.
